"Oh, frak." Parker knelt down next to them, then looked around, hoping to see Logan, but not catching a glimpse of him anywhere. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Yes. Logan. He didn't tell me how he did it, though." Parker looked back down at Cal, wincing. "He's an idiot. Just said he bought the spell from someone, nothing else."
"So can I, but 'idiot' is a place to start." Taking Cal's hand, Parker shook her head. "Damnit, damnit, damnit.... Would knocking her out help, do you think?"

"No! That wasn't what I meant! God created cellphones for a reason, Bridge." Parker worked her fingers free of Cal's, and splayed them out, trying to get the circulation back. "We need to get her somewhere quiet, then try to find a doctor who won't freak." She rubbed her eyes. "Somehow... Anyway. We can put her in my room."
"I know that," Bridge says. "I just meant, while we waited, I didn't want her down on the floor, with all these people around and everything," he takes a deep breath. "Sorry."
"It's okay. This isn't even close to our usual trauma." Parker rubbed her face. "Let me go get a blanket, we'll make a travois or something, get her upstairs. That work?"
Parker nodded, getting to her feet. "I'll clear the way."
And yeah, that do not start with me look on her face probably made a few people reconsider asking waht was going on as she lead the way to the elevator.
