And that would be when Bel shimmered into the Hyperion lobby, mentally rehearsing what he was going to say. "Hi, I'm alive, sorry about the being evil thing?" "Guess who?" "I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!"

Upon seeing Angel and Logan, however, what came out was more like, "Ack!" Followed by the impulse to blind himself.

Logan heard a noise and opened his eyes. Upon seeing Bel, he didn't pause to think. He'd gone over this scenario (well, not this *exact* scenario, but close enough) so many times in his head that he knew what to do. He reached behind the reception counter, grabbed his gun and fired two shots at Bel's chest.

Bel was too surprised to shimmer out of the way. The bullets struck him in the chest and he toppled to the ground.
