Nephrite was a traitor to the Dark Kingdom in more ways than I care to count. His countless failures were either due to severe incompetence, or intentional sabotage. [Or a certain blonde mucking up his plans, but that's being left out of this tale.] There was no choice but to terminate him after he began to leak information to that little human girl.

That, and he had an item that the Kingdom needed in his possession.

He's known to seduce little girls, he speaks to the stars and grows upset when he can't see them, he shirks his duties, he blames his failures on others, he fights with young children, he targets and tortures little girls, he's a failure in every sense of the word. He's known to get drunk, he hallucinates, he's a traitor, and he believes no law applies to him.
