Locales
Okay, another meme, just out of boredom. Where do your SGA stories take place? What kind of planet? Certainly every planet in the Pegasus Galaxy isn't dominated by huge forests of Douglas Firs? So, I thought I'd look at that little aspect next.
Story is set in Atlantis:
"Odd Hours" - set in Radek's room and the newly discovered Hydroponics Bay
"What Say We?" McKay on a pier
"Ancient Devices" - McKay's lab
"Misconstrued" - about a third of it happens in Atlantis
"Bee in a Bonnet" - inside Atlantis (in more ways than one)
Open Fields:
"Where the Buffalo Roam" - I envisioned the scab lands of Eastern Washington, in cool weather
"Dumb Books" - flat lands in winter
"Whirlwind" - horrible Iowa in tornado season
"Misconstrued" - a third of of it occurs on a planet with open fields and a cave
Forests/Jungle
"Could Be Worse" - it's meant to resemble a autumnal New England world
"Strange Doings" - winter again and a forest
"Stupid Stuff" - Ronon and McKay, running through a deep forest
"Under Glass" - a hilly foresty planet
"Miscontrued" - a third of it happens on a forested planet of the overly friendly Capilanos
"Mad Men of Muc Muc" - forests and weird weird aliens
"Warm and Safe and Dry" - totally based on the rain forests of the Olympic Peninsula
"In the Jungle" - very jungly
Oceanside
"Worst Case Scenario" - a beachside town - misty and chilly -- resembling Astoria, OR
"Paradise" - tropical island
Frozen world
"Winter Wonderland" - so cold... so white
"Dumb Books" - wintery cold, but not as cold as Winter Wonderland
Alien City
"Peculiar Things" - set almost entirely in a stiffling room with no real reference to the surrounding area
"Could be Worse" - The city of the Bankiers and the weird robot... and those lizards
"Strange Doings" - starts out in an alien town that has been burned and abandoned
"Stupid Stuff" - the Athosian town on the mainland
"Worst Case Scenario" - the town and tunnels of an abandoned city
Space
"Among the Stars" - set mostly in a space stationsorry about the underlining. I can't seem to get rid of it
