Everything...?
[A blatant pause. Silence ensues, and then the sound of 'clanking'. It's plastic and not metal, though.]
Vin? Vin! [Some more clanking. By this point, Ashelin is actually trying to fix her communicator. Except it's not working, so she's going to use the one the ship gave her.] Vin, come in.
[There's a sigh of absolute exasperation

Ashelin. Welcome back.

What the hell are you talking about?
Reply
It's a long story.
We're a long way from Haven.
Reply
What's going on? Why are we here? What did you do, and how do we reverse it? And what the hell do you mean by 'welcome back'?
[She's really trying her best not to scream at him.]
Reply
Ah, miss? Please calm down, getting worked up won't help anything.
Reply
I'm not worked up. Just save me some trouble and explain to me what's going on.

Before you ask, no one knows how to get off the ship, or find the Captain.
Reply
[Oh, hey. She's a captain, too. Just not of a ship.]
How many residents like yourself are aboard this vessel?
Reply
You're on a ship called the M.S. Elegante, there's no eco here, the Captain is a man who is apparently close to impossible to get in contact with, and as far as anyone knows, no, you can't leave.
My suggestion would be that you find something or someone to entertain yourself with. Precursors only know, this place can get frightfully dull. [Don't listen to Maia, Ashe. She's only saying that because she doesn't have any dark eco to screw around with.]
Reply
No eco. An illusive captain. No escape.
Well, ought to be a... 'fun' trip.
[No, really. Like her sarcasm?]
A Havenite? You mentioned Precursors.
Reply
[That next question gets an amused snort in response. Yet another person from this 'Haven' place.]
No, I'm not from any 'Haven'. I live up to the north - far north.
Reply
Wherever. That doesn't really matter. You know who the Precursors are, is that right?
[Jeezus. Just answer the question.]
Reply
Ashelin?
[The hope is strained, though. The other two didn't remember.]
Do you require assistance?
Reply
Cue suspicion here.]
Who is this?
Reply
She doesn't remember. She doesn't remember him.
When he finally does speak, there's still a note of pain and loss that he can't quite erase from his voice.]
My name is Phoenix. I come from the Brink.
Reply
This guy knows her. Or thinks he knows her. Or is a very good actor. Considering he's likely not the only one to react this way, Ashelin's bargaining on the two former.]
Phoenix.
How do you know me? I only just arrived and while I might have heard of the Brink-- [Because Jak mentioned it.] --I wouldn't be famous there.

Welcome back, Miss Praxis.
Reply
Who is this?
[Ashelin gets the feeling she's going to be asking this a lot.]
Reply
[He chuckles.]
I am Ganondorf.
Reply
[This man reeks of the Praxis smell. At least his voice does.]
