In all the work being done with working on getting a planet to establish a colony on, Teddy hadn't been paying much attention to the days on the calender he brought. It was difficult to recall when a day had passed without the sunlight or even a normal 24 hours to mark it out here

Chad was seriously about to choke a bitch. With the weird filming schedule of the show, he'd actually been in the house for several weeks, despite the first episode only airing this week, and it was starting to have the desired effect of making everyone get a little stir-crazy. He had told the other models that he needed to use the phone tonight, but Viki was talking forever, about Dios knows what, and it caused this great big dramatic thing. And the rub was that normally Chad wouldn't even care, but today was....important.

"Fine! Here!" Viki slammed the door behind her. "Have it!"

"Thanks!" Chad grunted back, slammed the door behind him even harder and just about made the whole house shake.

...No one was going to usurp any of Chad's phone time after that.

He settled into the chair in the little booth and dialed a very important number.

"She totally said I could have the phone, like, two hours ago," Chad grumbled.

"At least she's going to definitely get the bitch edit." Unless she won.

[senor_chado]

"Unless she wins," Chad said.

They were on a level, here, him and Teddy.

"And then they'll probably give her the bitch-but-turns-a-new-leaf-toward-the-end edit."

There was a pause. "I don't know what edit I'm getting."

"The quiet one who blows them all out of the water, but they find some stupid flaw with?" Teddy suggested. Look, he watched a lot with Chad, okay?

"You think they'll get me on being too tall?" Chad wondered. "After booting off someone for being too short? Monica's pretty short; she always gets ripped on for wearing things that make her look shorter."

...A lot.

Which begged the question... "Does she?"

[senor_chado]

"...Sometimes?" Chad said, with uncertainty. "But, in her defense, those ballet flats were really cute."

"You don't own boots right?" Teddy asked, making sure they couldn't start on that now.

[senor_chado]

There was a pause.

"No," he said, after making sure boots were not a part of the three pairs of shoes he owned. "I mostly just wear those shoes you got me."

You know, the ones Teddy got him after puking on the first pair.

They didn't talk about that!

"Good. No need to make them bring up your height. How's everything else?"

[senor_chado]

"It's...weird," Chad said. "Really, really weird. How are things out there in space?"

[notthehulk]

"Things are..." Teddy sighed and slumped on the bed. "Things have been better."

Understatement of the century.

[senor_chado]

"...What's wrong?" Chad asked, frowning deeply.

[notthehulk]

"We're trying to get a place to start a colony and don't have any sort of military to back up the negotiations," Teddy said with another sigh. "I'm going to have to call Phyla at this rate and they don't want to deal with the Kree."

[senor_chado]

Not surprisingly, there was a long pause following that while Chad thought.

"...want me to throw the competition so I get booted and can come help?"
