tracking post - week one
Day One (Day 45/Tuesday)
Cloud wakes up to find a nurse who refuses to call him by his real name, and is led out to lunch where he meets Yuffie, except she denies being his friend. All-in-all, not the best of beginnings. He runs into Brook the next shift who seems to recognize him even though they've never met, which is odd considering everything else so far. At dinner, he meets his roommate, Luke, who's been there for a shorter amount of time than even he has, and they get along pretty well from the start.
When night rolls around, Cloud leaves Luke with someone from his world and steps out to meet Kenshin who he'd made plans with on the bulletin (and who apparently roomed right next door to them). Hurrying past one of Landel's creatures, they first go to meet up with someone close to the red-head. Though Cloud doesn't like delaying finding Yuffie, it seems to mean a lot to Kenshin, so they take his girlfriend along and run into the ninja just in time to save her from something nasty disguised as a friend.
Day Two (Day 46/Wednesday)
Breakfast is spent catching up with a now unbrainwashed Yuffie. After that, there is a tearful reunion with Aerith followed by a run-in with Loz at lunch. Cissnei is another stranger he should know, adding to the list of people there from his world. Then there's another thoughtful conversation with Luke at dinner.
Tonight, he needs to meet up with Yuffie and the others, or some of the others, in her room. After preparing themselves, they head out toward the rec field and then over the wall, but night ends before they get any further.
Day Three (Day 47/Thursday)
Today's breakfast brings a shocking revelation in the form of Zack being alive and well. He gives Sheena a hand the next shift and sat with Honey at lunch. (The cute thing, not the condiment.) Finally, he's able to speak with Zack in the greenhouse. Dinner is the usual affair.
...Except that Luke is taken for Special Counseling. Because of this, Cloud turns down going to a group meet-up in order to find him. Running into Tifa and Nanaki on the way, he soon makes it to the sun room where Luke is stationed.
Day Four (Day 48/Friday)
Cloud has breakfast with Tyki Mikk, but spends it worrying about Luke. Running into Rude the next shift doesn't make him feel better, and he's wary about any offered alliances from the Turks. He sits for a brief lunch with Luke and Tifa. Munfail means he isn't around for the next shift, but he does finally get to speak longer with Luke at dinner.
Nothing happens this nightshift.
