The first is an apology of sorts. As I've come to understand, neither of us were really ourselves. The result was that. I apologize for my part in that.
[long silence as his gaze kind of flickers away]
I'm... sorry about that, too. I don't really think that, by the way. I... know what it's like to lose someone, too. So... sorry.
[A slight twitch on his face. Uncomfortable topic alert.]
Something I've come to understand. Regardless, my second message is a warning. I'm not an overly violent individual, but I won't simply turn the other cheek. Despite that being out of your control, if the situation arises were something of this nature occurs again, it will not end as swiftly and as cleanly as it did prior to this. Am I clear?
[in a hard voice] Crystal.
[A single nod]
Good. Then we're done here. Hopefully, there will be no other occurrences in the future.
Uh, yeah. I have a warning of my own for you, though: don't piss off Piper. Not if you want to stay in one piece.
