France
République Française
"Come, now, raise your income taxes for frangin."Older brother figure to Monaco, though they're not actually related. Their relationship started out as something courtly and romantic in the Renaissance when he helped her escape the Spanish Empire, but they've become too comfortable and familiar with one another in recent years, and so the spark has disappeared. While otherwise independent, Monaco relies on France for military defense, and in turn, will do whatever he asks of her. He's the first one she runs to with any problems she cannot solve herself, the exception being, of course, that she cannot tattle on him when he himself embarrasses her by patting her on the head. She's considerably more fond of him than she lets on, though.

North Italy
Repubblica Italiana; Veneziano"Bella, why do you keep running away?"First boss in what is considered modern Monégasque history. She was gifted to Veneziano by the Holy Roman Empire during the Middle Ages, and ended up spending hundreds of years trying to run away from his house. In the nineteenth century, she was given to him once again, though this time by France. While Monaco still essentially idolizes him for things like his cooking and architecture, she's come to realize he's an entirely different brand of aggravation as an equal, rather than her superior.

South Italy
Repubblica Italiana; Romano
"So I heard you like fascism..."Close companion in the lap of luxury under Spanish rule. The two were good friends until Monaco left the empire and Spain prohibited them from seeing each other any longer. In World War II, it was Romano who led the Italian army into Monaco and charmed her into allowing him and his brother to set up a puppet government for her. While not as close as they were in days long past, she still holds a certain affection for Romano and his disinterest in controlling her himself.

Spain
Reino de España"I'll give you whatever you want if you'll stay!"Ex-boss many people consider to be Monaco's "polar opposite." He spent a good part of the late Middle Ages convincing her to join the Spanish Empire with promises of happiness and protection, only to smother her to the point of rebellion when she finally did accept his offer. Though casting Spain off is still what Monaco considers one of her best decisions, they've become closer and rather friendly since the collapse of the empire.

Greece
Ελληνική Δημοκρατία
"Hi..."Younger son of her mother, though you can't exactly call them brother and sister.

England
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"Quote goes here. Yes, here. This was stolen from Hannah."Though he previously derided her for her chosen methods of moneymaking, bestowing upon her the description of "the moral cesspool of Europe" in the nineteenth century, England's tourists are currently her main source of income.

Seborga
Comune di Seborga
"Quote goes here. Yes, here. This was stolen from Hannah."The closest thing she has to a younger cousin, they shared a lord in the sixteenth century. He's been tiringly clingy with her ever since.

Russia
Российская Федерация"Quote goes here. Yes, here. This was stolen from Hannah."Ballet buddies and longtime friends, much to the dismay of France and Italy. Their relations date back to the 1850's, when Monaco first began relying on tourism for income. Russian aristocrats would pay exorbitant prices to travel to the Mediterranean with their mistresses to gamble and have an all around good time. Numerous cooperative treaties and agreements were signed between the two nations at this time.

America
United States of America
"Quote goes here. Yes, here. This was stolen from Hannah."Homeland of Monaco's beloved Princess Grace. While the two are friendly, America often erroneously refers to her as "Monte Carlo."

Japan
日本国"Quote goes here. Yes, here. This was stolen from Hannah."Fish-killer. They duked it out over a ban on the trade of endangered bluefin tuna in 2009 and 2010, though in the end, Japan got his way and the tuna is still being fished..

The Netherlands
Nederland
