Major venting.

Before I start, I'll say some happy things to calm me down a little. Last night, Bryce drove all the way down here to hang out and have dinner...I really, really missed seeing him around (nine months is a long time!) and it was so good to be able to just talk and be myself with him. Definitely a nice thing to follow that last LJ entry of mine ( Read more... )

Slaves received beatings or other physical punishment for refusing to work, attempting to run away, or participating in plots or rebellions against their owners. Some slaves were executed for rebelling.

It'll work out alright in the end- you'll see. (Beauty and the Beast) ms_ariel_potter May 27 2005, 06:41:38 UTC
I'm sorry love. But there are MANY benefits to going your third year instead of your second. That's what I did and I'm glad I waited. Also, things always happen for a reason, even though it feels terrible at the time. Who knows, maybe there will be a show in NY your junior year that you are meant for. Or maybe Sutton will be in a show your junior year but not next year. There are always hidden advantages to things that seem unfair. And I may go again in two years, so maybe you'll go when I do again. And that would be fun times. So chin up chica, you'll see it'll work out. But I'm sorry you are dissapointed, and I hope the rest of your week gets better.

I hope it will all work out. Thank you; you and Robyn made me feel a lot better about the whole situation. I hope there's a good reason behind this...as in the sceme-of-life kind of reason, not the "UCI Drama Department Is Stupid" reason).

WONDERFUL job, again, with Jeffrey.

Our costumes are gonna ROCK next weekend!!!

I don't get why they are doing it. Well, I can sortof see it but I can think of a lot of people who want to go next year who are first years. I wish they had told this to people BEFORE spring quarter. *big hugs*

honestly, don't stress about it. i was thinking about going to ny last year as a sophomore, but i didn't audition because i didn't think i was ready. it turned out to be the perfect decision for me, because i realized that this year was just the right time for me to do it. of course, everyone's different, but trust me, i was SO much more prepared for it, and i got much more out of it this year than i would have last year. we can talk more about this this weekend at FUCKIN TECH if you would like.

I'm so sorry. I can tell the opportunity means a LOT to you, and it sounds amazing. I hope things work out, and eventually turn out for the better. But whatever happens as far as policies or requirements go, I have faith that things will come right because you are an amazing person and always manage to pull through in a positive light. Yes. Remember that. And never stop hoping, dreaming. I love you, even if I may not know you very well.
