Ok, people.
If you add me and you don't even drop me a little comment to say "Hi! I added you!" I am probably not going to add you back.
In fact, I will probably decide that you suck.
Because I'm deeply paranoid and them's the breaks.

I just added you like a half an hour ago. I was trying to work out a reason for you to add me back but I couldn't so i'll remove you again. No offense intended.

Well, I mean....like...where do I know you from?
It's not that you added me, but i like when people let me know that they're there. Because I'm paranoid.
You don't have to give me a reason to be your friend, but I'm curious as to why you would want to be mine.

You never gave me an answer to this.
I wasn't trying to chase you away or anything, when you added me.
I just always wonder why people add me when they do.
I didn't know if you saw a post of mine and felt a kinship, or it was something random or what.
(I would, in fact, like to be friends. But I think I might have spooked you. In which case I understand. But, like, three or four other people had randomly added me that week and I had a massive case of the paranoids.)

Hi, I know i didn't ever reply. I just figured you weren't interested in adding me so I thought i'd just leave it. I must've seen you somewhere and added you on impulse. Probably because i liked something you said. Since then i've seen you in self_induced_ed, you replied to one of my posts and i've seen one or two of yours I think. Anyway, I think i'm gonna delete this journal quite soon so i wouldn't expect you to add me now.

Heh, and I understand what you said about being paranoid, i didn't consider friending you would make you paranoid, sorry. =)

I can, but since everything's friends-only, why bother?
I just want to know why the hell these people are adding me. I don't think I'm all that friendly....

We have mutual friends and I know that if aspartic_acid likes you, you MUST be cool! :)
Plus it would really really nice to have some recovery minded people to talk to. And because you seem cool and that's all the reason I need.

Honestly I don't recall why I added you...likely because of something you posted. I'm definitely in a recovery state of mind, so I hope you'll keep me around. And best of luck to you, by the way.
