Here I sit at 1:00 A.M. trying to fall asleep in a brand new apartment. Most of my stuff is still at my old place and I have decided to pay my rent to my old landlords a few weeks late because a) I need the money right now b) don't really care if they don't like it, by the end of the week I should be moved

1) Repainting...EVERYTHING.
2) Using this crazy caustic paint stripper to bring the bronze back under all the painted fixtures.
3) Installing a ceiling fan.
4) Sanding and filling the walls (and ceiling...).
5) Installing a door knob on the door leading into the hall (it only had a dead bolt before and a door knob with no door clicky part).
6) Painting again.
That's just the living room...
It's a major uphill fight on this one, but I will prevail! I even found a use for the window in the living room looking into the pantry...who the hell puts a window there?!?! Anyways, my 36 inch TV fits in the window PERFECTLY and on the upper half I am going to put a backdrop of a sunny hillside with a few trees and put it behind the upper half of the window and than put up window curtains! It's cost me $400.00 already to make this place livable and me and my roommate think we will be here years, so it's worth it.
