Loved the Food Show - best thing I've been to at the stadium (a.k.a The Cake Tin). Scoffed loads of free samples, bought a few things - biersticks, organic cookie bars, brezels, cheap chocolate (later discovered to be out of date), a bit of crème brûlée in a wee ramekin that I was probably supposed to return to the stand

Wow, you've had your Food Show already? They rock - we'll be away on the 3rd, but I'm going to try to go to the one up here on the Friday night (before the hordes arrive - it gets so crowded!)

I'm hoping South Korea get on well, just because they get so totally chuffed with winning :)

Ours was pretty crowded but probably not as much as Auckland's will be... The stadium's an excellent venue for such things, they use the massive circular corridor that goes around the top of it & there's heaps of room. Since it's a sports stadium there's useful amenities like toilets & cash machines too.

I put my name down for a few giveaways too, so I'll probably get some publicity material at some stage... it's weird though, I've done that at a number of expo-type shows & never heard from the people I've given my details to. Seems a waste for them to get all that juicy mailing list info & not use it.
