[7th Flight] [Locked from Akabane.]

I think... I think I may have spent a little too long studying Shimmlebots Guide for Chivalrous Psychics. This headache is killing me. I might just... sleep for a while. Give my mind a little break. (No sarcastic comments, thanks.)

Professors, sorry I'm missing class. I can come by and pick up the homework later or tomorrow.

ren, week 28, professor iroh, professor ashelia, sickness is exhausting, professor shalice, class, professor kuchiki

Don't worry about your homework. I'll get it for you along with some notes.

You just rest.

Thanks, Ren. That's very sweet of you. Are you sure you're up to the wrath of professors scorned, though?

It’s my turn to take care of you now. You shouldn’t worry about me as much as you do unless I’m able to return the favour once in a while.

Besides, I'm sure they'll all be ecstatic to see me in class once they get over the shock that I'm there in the first place. What classes do you have?

It's a habit. Hero-types like me need some people to save from time to time, anyway, so really you're helping me out.

I hope you know how to transfigure chairs into pillows. I'd hate to think of Professor Kuchiki getting a concussion because of the shock.

I think today it's Tranfiguration, Government, Divination and Ancient Runes. Divination might not be until tomorrow, my head's kind of fuzzy.

That is of no worry, Miss Elliot. I will make a copy for you and drop it off on my way to playing the tsungi horn by the lake. I would play you a lullaby with it, but it is not exactly a gentle instrument.

Oh! Thank you, Professor Iroh. I really appreciate it, but Ren said he can pick up notes if that'd be easier for you?

...I'd love the lullaby, although I think my Housemates might not be so... enthusiastic. Maybe I could listen to you play another time?

Ah, I don't mind. I'll be glad to drop them, just in case you have any questions about the work.

Oh believe me, I'm not quite good at being quiet with the tsungi horn. I think it would do less good. But I will let you know when I play when you're more able to bear it.

You know Shimmlebots Guide is full of crap, right? Come by my office sometime, I can lend you some better things to read.

I've been meaning to talk to you about this since you mind-rang me when you were in the hospital wing. You seem to have a fair bit of power, but lack the knowledge of how to use it. I'd like to teach you, if you're willing.

Crap and probably other things that aren't as academically relevant or unbiased. That'd be great, thanks Professor.

[Private to Professor Shalice]

Really? I would-- that would be great. I'd love to. There's only so much you can get from books.

... Am I in trouble, at all?

I think you need more teaching than books can do in this case, yes.

Trouble? Of course not. I think it's just very important you learn how to control your abilities.

Oh. Then, thank you. Extra information and avoiding trouble all in one day. That's new.

That'd be great, Maya. Thank you. Homework is overrated sometimes, don't you think?
