The din of the party reached Logan even after ten minutes of walking. It felt like it was following him, forcing him to move further to get away from it. The noise had started to hurt his ears and he’d grabbed Charlie in the middle of a dangerously tight swing of the hips to ask him to let Abby know he’d gone for a walk and he’d be back in ten.
