Wow, it's been exactly a month since I last posted. One might surmise, from this factoid, that I have been up to no good, or at least up until odd hours of the morning, having crazy party time. No, you're right, it wasn't a normal hippo, seeing as, you know, it was called a PYGMY hippo. Maybe your "normal" hippos are just abnormally large, did you eveer think of that?

I used to love having the house to myself but then a few years ago the alarm system malfunctioned in the middle of the night and I thought a burglar had come to kill me and for some reason the police didn't come so I hid upstairs and called 911 and I was scared.

Ever since then my friend Andrew has had to come babysit me when I'm home alone.

Oh God, I am ridiculously paranoid. A few days ago I thought I heard ~suspicious noises~ downstairs (cupboard doors closing and such) so I crept down and no one was there but I thought maybe someone was hiding in the basement. So I propped a chair under the handle to the door of the basement.

It's still there.
