i want some good home style jew food. i want someone's sweet little jewish mom to make me latkes (however you spell that) & blintzes & maybe some matzo w/ way too much butter. chris is only sorta down w/ the middle eastern cuisine so that sometimes limits it as an option. seriously, any LJ friends i still have out there, let me know if you wanna ( Read more... )

I love latkes, falafel, hummus, and zucchini pancakes! let's get together for a food extravaganza! and we still need to make quiche

I developed a severe addiction to hummus because of you. Its a good thing all of the yuppies moved in to williamsburg because the spanish owned groceries actually carry a wide selection of hummus now. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to find it after moving back home.

P.S. If you ever want to get together and do a cook-a-thon, I'm in. I miss those and I've actually gotten ever so slightly more competant in the kitchen.
