Logically, being in Discedo for a prolonged period of time seems to desensitize the average person from its never ending mischief. I tend to agree with this as I sometimes forget just how strange this place really is. I must admit though, I do enjoy the plucky cast of characters it gradually acquires. That whole desensitized thing is a lot worse when the world you came from tended to be just as unusual and random as this one. As is my case. The odd weather, the uncertain danger around every corner, even the "plucky cast of characters." Minus the lack of powers and the whole dark and depressing thing and it's almost like home to me.

The creatures are new but I'm used to encountering unfamiliar beasts, if that makes sense? Yeah, I'd say I've got a better chance of making myself comfortable than most.
