Someone on my friends list linked the Eagle trailer a while ago and, OMG, if the movie is only half as slashy as the trailer... !!! I wish it was in the theatres already. :D

The thing is, we've now officially gotten to the point where I will go see a movie just for the slash. I don't think that's ever happened before.

I'm pretty sure I've watched a movie just for the slash before, even though I can't come up with an example right now. I did start watching White Collar just for the slash, though.

I think it's different, to me, when I get into a show or a movie or whatever else because people on my flist have recced it. Usually when that happens, they're saying "This is awesome!" as well as "Check out the slash!" Plus they're actively enabling. It feels different if I'm going "Wow, that movie could be complete crap, but...slash!"

idk, I'm just irritated with their characterization of Bones and her continued social regression, and I miss season two Booth/Bones.

Yeah, I did think it was kind of weird last season how she somehow started going backwards. Like the writers suddenly wanted a do-over, or something, idk.

I am so incredibly behind on all my tv shows and instead of catching up I keep finding NEW SHOWS to watch!

Also, I still love Bones. I can never not love Bones. :(

Holy God, I am going to watch the hell out of that movie. The Eagle of the Ninth was one of the first books that pinged my slash radar, back when I was in middle school and didn't even know what that was.

Got any exciting New Year's plans?

Current plans involve trying to recover from Christmas festivities. Oh, and cleaning my apartment so I can find my damn electric bill and pay it on time.
