so tonight we gut my computer and replace all the hardware with new bits,as well as switch my OS to xp..the fun part will be reinstalling everything..blech.

Really? I've had Xp running on my machine for weeks, tee hee. Its the ugliest thing my computer runs.

how much of your hardware did you replace? I imagine that'd make more of a difference than Xp.

lets see:

power supply,motherboard,harddrive,processor,ram,video card,sound card,cd burner..basically took everything old out,and put all new stuff in.

yes, that's what i'm doing today... about a whole month later... i've reached the reinstalling point... it's such a bitch especially since i can never find my damned program archive cds...
