So, uh... I've been doing a lot of drawing this week. It's sort of unreal.
"Tooth and Claw" was my entry into a color scheme/pallet challenge.
(You can click the image above to go to its respective DA page.)
My webcomic character,
Tim and a pink river dolphin. This is very much a work-in-progress (as are the following two images). You can see that I've very roughly put in where I want the light to hit the two characters... Yeah, I don't have much to say about this. I think I need more practice drawing pink river dolphins.
Tim swimming/dancing with a mysterious turtle. I wanted her colors to contrast Tim, give her a more feminine quality, and reflect closer to the colors of an actual green sea turtle.
And here's Tim, apparently spying on some mighty big catfish. Possibly my favorite WIP piece of the week, along with Hobbes Vs. Pooh. I certainly seem to be getting better!
Other "warped animal cartoons" coming soon. Today was a Timothy Green day, it seems.
