The "Hobbes Vs. Pooh" piece is done, but it certainly took long enough! XD
Multi-media digital painting, yay! I'm not sure how many brushes I used. There's airbrush, acrylic, blenders, gouache, and sponges. I think that just about covers it. Heehee!
Things that I like about it: the fur. And some of the reflected light, because that is usually lacking in my work. Time to change that! I also really like how the tiger's side of the painting came out, in terms of the background. Those scribble bushes imply just enough detail. The grass is cool, too, though I should probably re-learn how to make a grass brush: I usually just put them in blade-by-blade.
Things that could be improved:
- TREES. I need to do a ton of tree (and plant) studies before I draw any backgrounds with them. I really don't like how the tree turned out, though I probably could have used some cooler, less-saturated colors for the leaves.
- Inking fur.
Not much is going on for me right now.
I'm trying to write ahead in my Timothy Green script so I can get back to updating (in December). A brand spanking new website is in the works, too. I really don't know when the website is going to go live, though.
I'm also working on scripts for my next webcomic, a comic based off of The Seven Ravens, and a bunch of short comic stories about a girl who lives in a magic castle.
