Triple Letter Score!

Alright, we will begin with the letters....

These letters are for mippa!

1) Bill: In a family full of Dorians, Ceinwens, Brenleys and Sumaris, my dad managed to get what could very well be the plainest name in the world. It's a good thing his personality's so eccentric, or we'd be in trouble. :) Most people say I've got mostly my Mom in me, but from my Dad I inherited my love of theatre, British-style wackiness, my single-minded determination, and my wide 'So long, suckers!' grin. All hail!

2) Bees: My one irrational fear. Except it's really not irrational. When I was six years old, a bee sat on my nose for half an hour, and the incident when I was twelve...When I was twelve, I was biking in the park, and a bee got caught between my eyebrow and my helmet. It stung, I tried to flick it away...I lost my balance and fell into a bramble bush. I had scars for years.

3) Bread: One of my least favourite foods. Even before the low-carb craze, I thought it was pointless. Unless we're talking hot, fluffy baguettes here, they're in a different league.

4) Barsotti: My favourite New Yorker cartoonist. The pup is arguably one of the cutest things ever, EVER drawn.

5) Bubbles: My favourite of the Powerpuff Girls. I once read a very creepy fanfic about her, though, it involved the PPGs being created by Hitler, and Bubbles believing that she was the perfect Aryan...Very creepy. But yes, she's still my favourite, because she's sweet, I share her love of all things plushie, and I wish I could talk to animals.

6) Belle: My least favourite of the Disney princesses. I could rant about her for a LONG time. But here's the gist of my despising of her. She embodies ingratitude--for not being killed as soon as she entered by the Beast, for being treated like a guest...She treated Gaston horribly after he attempted to propose. She returns the Beast's generosity by going STRAIGHT to the West Wing. And she actually shrinks him. He grows smaller on the screen as the film goes on. Argh!

7) Beatrice: My favourite Shakespearean leading lady. She and Benedick are my favourite romance in all of Shakespearedom. I think I like them so much because it's not instant, like R&J are--they have to let themselves be vulnerable, and that's very hard to do.

8) Bob Newhart: He has an uncanny resemblance to my Dad, but the main reason I love him is the 'Introducing Tobacco' conversation. Beautiful stuff. Also worth a download 'Superman at the Dry-Cleaner's.

9) 'Build God, Then We'll Talk': My favourite Panic! At the Disco song. My main reason for digging it so much is the sniping at 'My Favourite Things' at the end. Plus, it's just fun.

10) Blonde: I always say 'I'm going to dye my hair dark someday!', but I don't mean it. I love being a blonde, having big blue eyes, letting anybody who doesn't know better seing just a bombshell and not the powderkeg inside. My intelligence always comes as such a surprise...I love it.

M!

1) Mac: What makes me Scottish to the outside world, my least favourite SSX character of all, and the adorable hero of 'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'.

2) My Fair Lady: My favourite movie. Every time I call another movie my favourite, I apologise to My Fair Lady. The combination of Shavian dialogue, memorable if not particularly sublime music, and Cecil Beaton's work makes for an amazing film. I love it beyond belief.

3) Metric: My favourite system of measurement--and my favourite band, if they'd just go back to their earlier sound. 'Live it Out' just wasn't as strong as 'Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?'. If Emily Haines and Shirley Manson had a death fight, who would win?

4) Mancini: I was going to put just 'Magnificent Seven' in this, but I couldn't ignore all his other works. Breakfast at Tiffany's, the Pink Panther theme, and Magnificent Seven? John Williams is just a pretender to Mancini's filmscoring crown.

5) Motown: When I was young, my family would drive up to Penticton to visit my cousins on their vineyard. My mom controlled the stereo, and thus, I was instilled with a rich love of said genre. Still adore it.

6) Margaret Atwood: I hate the fact that she's the best known Canadian author. I HATE her novels. That being said, Siren Song is one of my favourite poems. So it balances.

7) Marilyn Monroe: Well, I'm including her on this list for a reason...I adore her. She's got such charisma on screen, and it's amazing how she hasn't aged when compared to how other actresses of her time come across today. The 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' sequence of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is still great. Plus, she gets points for being in two of my other favourite films, Some Like it Hot and How to Marry a Millionaire.

8) Math: My least favourite subject in school. It has been forever, and is likely to hold on to that coveted spot. Gawd, I do despise it.

9) Maleficent: My favourite Disney villain of all time. I cheered when she came back in Kingdom Hearts II. Loudly.

10) Moisturizer: Something I can't live without. My skin dries out so fast, it's unbelievable.

P!

1) Pink: I had a love-hate relationship with the colour through most of my life. Now, I've come to the conclusion that I love all pinks except baby pink, which I find noxious. I have the most gorgeous pink Betsey Johnson sweater that I just adore.

2) Poe: One of my favourite groups of all time. 'Haunted' is an awesome album, one of the few CDs I can listen to all the way through.

3) Paul Williams: Just one of the great modern songwriters whose name starts with 'P'. He gets major points for writing 'The Rainbow Connection' and 'Just an Old-Fashioned Love Song'.

4) Pulp Fiction: It's classic. Christopher Walken's cameo never fails to make me laugh. Smart dialogue? Check. Dance sequence? Check. Awesome music? Check.

5) 'Pavlov's Bell': My favourite Aimee Mann song, beating out even 'The Moth'.

6) Porter, Cole: Usually I'm not in favour of hyperboles, but he's perhaps the greatest songwriter ever. For being one guy, and not two, like the Gershwins.

7) Princess Nine: One of my favourite anime series, but Izumi was robbed. Yet again, my least favourite character--the quiet, meek, brunette lead gets the man from under the nose of the girl with 'tude. No fair!

8) Peaches and Cream: My favourite variety of corn on the cob.

9) Palmistry: I do wish I knew how to do this...I also wish I knew where to find a good palm-reader in this town. Darnit all!

10) Peanut Butter and Chocolate: My favourite flavour of ice cream. Salty and sweet. Especially good when there's little Reese's cups inside.

Et voila!
