i. I hate feeling mediocre. I think that's why law school is so unpleasant.

I think that's why undergraduate at a liberal arts college has been unpleasant. :/

Aw, thanks! And yeah, it's not BAD per se but it's not great either. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I'm actually good at, since clearly it's not this.

OMG! I just saw this. I'm currently enrolled in an ancient Greek language course at uni! I've always wanted to learn biblical Greek, too... and in my school, once we learn attic Greek, we also learn to translate later texts like the new testament! Just wanted to share how awesome I think you teaching yourself Greek is. :D
