Hope you don't mind me doing this here rather than the comments in Dave's journal...alainn_mactireOctober 9 2008, 20:56:55 UTC
...but there are others on Dave's friends page who have asked to friend me recently and been told no, and, frankly, I can do without the shit of "well why not me..." if they see me friend you. (I did try and PM you, but I think you have it set to friends only)
Anyway, yes, you seem really nice and we do have a few interests in common, so I'd be happy to friend you. I'm going to be honest here - I have no idea how we're going to get on, so you won't be going straight into filters (well, except the not Dave one, which is mainly about his birthday pressies and everyone is in).
I hope that doesn't seem off at all - I've just had some really bad experiences, and as a serious introvert I'm now pretty closeted. But, I get a feel for people quite quickly once we start talking, so I wouldn't worry about it...
Anyway, if all that hasn't already put you off, lol, then yes, feel free to friend me :o)
(Urm...yes, I am indeed the queen of taking an entire page to say what could be said in a sentence or two. *hangs head in shame*)

Of course I don't mind.
I'm pretty much the same as you, as far as being an introvert until I get to know someone better. Even more so after some recent events.
It doesn't seem off to not be added to filters right off, filters are there for a reason and I always think that people not only have to prove themselves but have to work up through the levels of filters. Maybe that's a bit foil hat crazy of me.

I was such a dork when I was at Jason Lee... I normally walked around school with a jeans jacket covered in Beatles buttons.
