Working on the dissertation, have met with my two Latin 200 tutoring students, meeting with my Greek 200 tutoring student either later this week or next week. Still bouncing around trying to take one of all the yoga classes my gym offers, figuring out who my favourite teachers are. There's this sort of vitamin d precipice: if you get enough sun to make your own, your skin can stand up to the amount of sun you need to make your own vitamin d, but at some point, at least for me, that drops off into a hole wherein I burn badly _and_ have to take vitamin d, and it's hard to get out of that. (short-sleeve shirts and lots of bicycling and just enduring arm burns, pretty much.)

I didn't tan at all until I was in my late 20s. Not "didn't get sun exposure", but didn't tan, only burned and peeled back to white. Then quite suddenly I started being able to tan. That hasn't changed since I moved up here, fortunately. :)

I am off most of the drugs that made me sun-sensitive--except for the omeprazole. *sigh* I can have ulcers or I can take Vitamin D supplements, I guess.
