So we would like some input from you peeps. Do you have one? What are your experiences of it? What are its drawbacks? Has it made you fitter and/or thinner ( Read more... )

I think it is great fun and has actually made me get sweaty (in a non fun way) this could be because I am just not that fit or that it works. his knibbs and the sprogs also like it, the only problem is we don't put it on nearly as much as we should. I shall redress this tonight!

if I could afford one, I'd definitely consider buying one. We had the use of one over the Christmas period, and it was really good fun. I particularly liked the yoga games.

The only quibble I have with them is that the novelty may well wear off very quickly. We only had it for a week, so it got used a lot, but I'm not sure if the shine might wear off it after a while.

I don't have one...but I have to say, I am starting to do my own research on them! They do sound good, don't they? Maybe if you get one, you could report back on its effectiveness...might be the decider for me!

I love the wii, especially the boxing and the jogging, my fitness is getting better. I've been a bit poorly lately so it hasn't been used as much but I've started weightwatchers and starting my wii again and it really helps with my fitness levels and mood. It also times you and gives you a time piggy bank and you stamp your progress. I love it. I hate the gym and I can get nice a sweaty increase my heart rate in the comfort of my own home. I feel I have a saved a considerable amount of money on not going to the gym or paying and not going and getting fitter than if I had paid for a gym membership because I would never go! I have found it a great weight loss tool and I know its going to help me when it gets tough with Weightwatchers! I think it is a really good investment. Its particularly sociable too, one of my friends come with her mii and we keep fit together and Iain joins us too! He has done more hours than me so I am trying to catch up!

WE've had ours over a year now, and it's not had as much used recently as Karen just hasn't even had the energy for low impact wii fitting.
I still jump on every now and then and almost always spend more time on it than I thought I would.
It really is a great bit of kit.
