Update

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Eponine made it through the night but wasn't really any better this morning. She's at the vet's on a drip to see if it helps, but the blood tests suggest that even if she improves whilst on the drip then she'll go back downhill fast as soon as we take her off it. It sounds like she's got a week at best.

So sorry to hear this and your later news. I'm sure from what you have said you did your very best for her whilst she was alive and that really counts. It doesn't make losing her any easier, but I hope soon you can look back on some memories from happier times.

I've just had to go and hug Bellini, our broken cat, to make me feel better.

You have my condolences. Eponine was a fine cat, one of the few I'd have wanted myself. She will be missed.
