I just finished eating the cake that I baked today. Ooh la la la.

Got this from: lovemelody

High School? College? Working?
Technically, I'm a college senior. But since I transferred to my current school, I'll have to stay an extra year to make up the lost credits. I'm not ready to head into the real world yet, so I'm kind of scared about leaving school. I hope to get a certificate in early childhood education so that's another year or two of schooling. Then, grad school. Ugh.

What do you want to be if you're not already working as it?
Um. As a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. But now that I've taught my own class for two summers, I think that dream has already been realized. Right now, I want to be a psychologist or a writer. I can't decide.

Relationship with your parents?
Pretty good. My parents aren't the typical Asian kind. They aren't overly strict and they're not afraid to try new things. As a kid, I was never severely punished. Spanking, yes. But that was limited. Right now, I'm at the point where I can crack jokes with them. I can tease them and they'll usually just roll their eyes at me, haha. They're very different from their siblings, because my aunts and uncles are super strict. Like, there's an aunt who forced her kids to write in their journals every freakin' day and access to the internet was very limited. My cousins were so scared to get caught watching videos on the 'net. Ugh. I'm glad my parents aren't like that.

Any kids:
No. Um. Yeah. I want them but I have to make sure the father's reliable. Haha. I don't actually believe in marriage, though. Hmmm. I don't know, maybe I'll adopt a little girl from China.

Brothers or sisters?
My imouto! I am 5 years, 10, months, and 6 days older! She was a bit annoying when she was younger. And now...well, let's just say that I am the immature one, lol. I pop in and out of nowhere, spitting out random things like, "Heeyah!". xD

Any pets?
A tank of fish. They're the new ones. I don't really care about them. They ate of their own! So yeah. I don't like them that much.

Dating anyone at the moment?
No. Never had a boyfriend. Did I not mention that my current goal is become a 單身貴族. Single and rich. Haha. Why spoil the fun? Haha, but then, if I do really meet someone who loves me as much as I love him, things would be spectacular. xD

Religion, do ya dig it?
Buddhist & Taoist here. After taking a East Asian Art class last semester, I've been paying more and more attention to Buddhas.

Something everyone loves that you hate:
It Started With a Kiss. I cannot stand girls like Xiang Qin. As JJ Lin once sang in a song: "I believe that ignorance is NOT bliss." Her ignorance of everything else but Zhi Shu irritated me.  I honestly don't understand what was so good about ISWAK. Xiang Qin made me want to smack her. Ugh.

....and I'm beginning to find the whole Korean Wave thing annoying. But I don't hate it.

Something everyone hates that you love:
Sashimi. Raw fish with rice and nori aka sushi is fine with them. But just raw fish? They're not brave enough, lol. I like sashimi over sushi! <3

Something a lot of people are into you're indifferent about:
Fated To Love You. Excluding the bed scene, I thought it was just a typical drama. I was so shocked that the ratings so were high. I kept thinking, "MAJIDE? I can think of a few other dramas better than this one!".

Something different about your online self and your real life self?
Not much of a difference. I am super opinionated and sometimes brutally honest. If you ask for my opinion on something, I'll give you a honest answer. Not one to beat around the bush, either. That's how I am online as well. But if I can sense that you're very sensitive, I'll find a better way to phrase my sentences so that you won't get hurt. xD

Do you listen to more Japanese music or music from your own country?
No. I listen to Mandarin music a lot more than Japanese. That's because I'm not familiar with many J-pop artists.

What are or were you teased about most in high school? Or are you the one doing the teasing?
My fatness! I didn't care, though. Haha. I knew I was fat. I just ignored all the teasing and continued living, lol.

Describe your favorite teacher:
Ms Tsoutsis, my AP English and English Honors teacher. She was about 27 when she taught our class but she looked a lot younger. She was always understanding, though a bit of a tough grader. We loved her so much that she was the only teacher on whom we played a April's Fool prank. She just laughed at us when we failed, lol. xD And, on the day of the AP exam, she bought us a table of snacks. And she was really nervous for us because we were the first AP English Lang and Comp class in the school. When we took our break for the exam, she was like our mother, waiting on us and giving us food.

Debbie, one of my psych and English profs from my previous college. She was always there to listen to me and was more than just a teacher. More like a mentor and friend.

Describe your least favorite teacher:
Mrs. Saluti. Um. Seriously. All she did was read out of the textbook. We couldn't even whisper to each other, even if it was about classwork. So boring.
 BAKA-NESS:

I totally forgot about my birthday! Haha, it's next Wednesday, but I had forgotten about it until Cindy mentioned it today. I was like, "Isn't my birthday in two weeks?". She looked at me like I was stupid and said, "Uh, no. Your birthday is next week. How can you forget?".

Um. I'm just a baka. xD

I have a lot of dramas to catch up on. Like Ryusei no Kizuna. NINO <3 I like Ryo, but not as much as I like Nino. Gotta check out Oh! My Girl as well. Oh, speaking of dramas, I made Raquel find Nodame Cantabile today. I told her that she should watch it since we're going to read the manga in Japanese class. Can't wait! <3

life: school, dramas: general
