Nah dude they're reuniting to promote the Killing A Camera dvd, it's a one time thing only. All new projects (Hey Mercedes, The Firebird Band, Life At Sea) will resume after this tour.
well gott-damn. that's really lame, but i probably wouldn't have been able to go anyway since it's the same day as my graduation party. dude, i got june 24th as a solid date to book at the space, so i'm going to get some bands to play, and i figure we can open. oh, and we should really try and practice this week.
"The album, released on April 6th, has received high marks from fans and critics alike, and with heavy airplay from MTV and modern rock stations nationwide, the band's fanbase is skyrocketing: Good News lands at #23 on Billboard's albums chart this week-- even snagging the chart's coveted "greatest gainer" status. Meanwhile, the album's first single, "Float On", has risen to #10 on the Modern Rock charts, and-- holy shit-- even made a dent in the publication's Hot 100 singles chart, an absolutely unheard of feat for a band who got their start as the most challenging interview on the Up Records roster" - Pitchfork Media (I know you hate PM)
