What I'm thinking is that you'll want to keep track of the start of each round. Say you started with a round of 12 dc's, after the final one, you would want to slip st to join the round and then switch to your next colour, and so on and so forth.

I'll admit, I'm offering this advice without trying it, so that's what I'm going to go do now!
