recently i have been making astounding discoveries about the hidden mysteries that have been right under our nose this whole time. until recently, i did not use the convienience (or lack there of) of public transit because i had my beloved jen-eagle to get me around. but now as it is my own means of transportation to get around the general GTA ( Read more... )

you know, i wonder if there's a lj community for the TTC? haha maybe i'm getting a little too carried away with this whole thing... but it's so interesting!

the president or someone high up i nthe TTC (he's also a councillor somewhere in toronto) was on CFRB awhile back (i think it was on cotober 27, the night i came back from london). i forget where it is, might be the don mills route you mentioned, but they started digging and then stopped the project and filled in the hole so there's a partially finished subway system buried underground somewhere.

yes i heard about that...

the TTC are always looking for ways to cut costs. since they thought that digging any further would cost far more than what their budget accounted for, they stopped digging.

the TTC even stopped painting the subway cars to save a few pennies...
