I haven't written in this for a few months but...what the heck. I applied to graduate last week for winter 2007...woo! Less than a year! If all works out, though, I will be back at UW in September 2007 for graduate school in library sciences. I just have to...get into the program ( Read more... )

when are you going to Maine? I'll be in CT August 19-30th.

Hella Library Sciences!

PS. I'm in children's lit...and it rocks. I can give you a ton of books to read, lady

Wait - you aren't 21 yet. So how are you supposed to find a beer to drink before you turn 21? Are you drinking...illegally????

look whose talking mr. new years eve lets all get totally wasted.

i just had some amazing beer this weekend. its called delirium tremens. its an import from belgium and a family brewery since 1654. the one downside is its commonly around 3.99+tx for an 11.2oz bottle.

for something a bit cheaper, try racer 5. its an ipa.

Woo!! Maine!! I'm so excited. Maybe we can all find a ride/bus and meet midway in Boston for a night or something since Kirsten E. is going to be in New England too. That would be sweet. I can't believe you're graduating after winter 2007...just a few quarters left. As far as beer, I've been drinking decent Danish stuff, but I don't know if they have it back in the U.S. I'll report to you if I find something good when I get back to America. See you next month in the PNW.

Go for Blue Moon. Its similar to a Hefeweizen. It's very creamy (aht) and opaque, and has a cirtus-y zing to it. Best served in a glass with a wedge of orange. So tasty!
