the password thing on myspace does seem to be a big issue.

i really dont like facebook, i enjoyed it much more when everyone had a basic profile without two thousands apps on their page. (and of course only got a facebook in the first place b/c sb made it for me at camp in 05.) but its nice for keeping up w/ the many people i rarely get to see, and of course, for monitoring students here. . . lol.
(i refrain from looking at students' personal pages as much as possible, and am only 'friends' with those who choose to add me (hello limited profile!), i would never request to add a student here to my facebook friends. i do, however, look at the group pages, b/c i think its good to know the general student consensus on issues around the academy that staff may or may not realize are issues. . . )

Much agreed on students and facebook. It was scary for me when IMSA and VAMPY kids started finding me on different sites.

With facebook, I find myself very rarely looking at people's actual pages.
