Ok, Went to a Reel Big Fish concert last night at Hampton Beach with my brother, and his friend Ryan. We sat on one road for 1/2-1 hour so we were a bit late. Then I was stopped by the security guard for my camera, so we went and dropped it off back at the car, which resulted in us missing Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. What a shame, or it would be if I knew who they were and liked them. So Punchline was playing when we got there. We assumed they would either be telling jokes in their songs, or they would put their fans in a line and punch them one by one. Unfortunately they didn't do either.
Then this surprisingly cool band El Pus played. They were luke punk, and rap. Runk? I think their flyer calls it Ghetto Punk. But whatever they were called they rocked everyone's socks. They were followed by American Hi-Fi. The less I say about them the better.
Of course Reel Big Fish was cool. They played some songs they don't normally play. By that I mean they played some songs they didn't play last time I saw them. I wish they did more versions of S.R., as they one did the ska and metal versions. Sadly they had no cool shirts, but the shirt I had on was cool enough. It said "Reel Big Fish is COOL! And so am I!"
Following the concert we drove Ryan home. Ryan lives in the middle of nowhere, AKA Greensfield. Sounds exciting doesn't it? On the way to Greensfield you will see some of the most interesting things ever. Such as rocks, and trees, and trees, and rocks, and I won't go on. They have a big catapult, which I guess every year they shoot a castle they build with. The truth in my mind is they're preparing to invade the rest of New Hampshire. Only thing is they don't know that better technology than a single catapult exists.
