Suddenly I feel better about my workspace aka Demented Designing Lab aka Ugly Baby Nursery... though right now it isn't TOO bad because I cleaned up to prepare for my vacation. It's went from being chaos to organized chaos since I've filled all my June orders. However, I have more room to work with so I have more room, and more crap, to fling everywhere.

Do you ever get periodic floods from too much rain? That's the pisser I get with having a basement studio... part of me wonders if I'd trade lukewarm beverages and massive cockroaches for not having to mop water off my floor when it rains too much!

Still... I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world :-D

Can't wait to see the Mario collage!

No flooding..thank god.

Plus the steel door we have is pretty hurricane resilient apparently.

I wish we had basements in Florida..it'd be a much more roomy place to reherase :D

Well, my basement studio makes mine relatively tornado-resistant ;-) Best part about being in a basement is no carpet to deal with so I can lay out everything on the floor and cut it... and when you're asked to make a gown with a 7-yd skirt.. that does help :-) Just have to make sure I pick it up if it looks like it may rain LOL

At least it shows you're all still grounded and don't take yourselves seriously. That happens alot in the music industry. And when bands get to that point they loose theirself and the music.

Yeah..we're pretty much down to earth regarding everything. Things might be cramped and uncomfortable...but in the end, i wouldn't have it any other way :)
