You know, I probably wouldn't have stopped at the punch if he hadn't started shrieking at the top of his lungs. That just really freaked me out and rattled me, and by the time I recovered, the security guy was there. I kinda wish I'd gone to town on him.

Well, they're being ridiculous. Any guy who says he's going to fuck you without your permission deserves to get punched. The fact that he's homeless does not make him exempt from that. I am all for being sympathetic to others, but my sympathy for someone's situation ends the second they threaten to rape me.
