I'm going on no established relationship pre-Bane; Bruce was just flirting shamelessly, as only he can. Hopefully this'll become clearer in the next few chapters (where I actually get to some relationship-centric stuff!).
And if there's one thing Bruce is well-practised in, it's being an urban myth.
Thanks again. I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy this, and thanks for stopping by to read. :)

Perfection.
I'm gonna sound mean, but I like Gordon's attitude, not giving Blake a break. Poor baby, he misses his partner!
You have no idea how many times I'v been refreshing this place for more of your updates, please don't stop, because this is brilliant AND I MISS BRUCE TOO AND JIM NEEDS HIS BOYFRIEND BACK, HE´S SO HEARTBROKEN AND BITTER - *sobs*

And I'm gonna sound mean too, because I agree with Gordon. Sure, it's a lot to take on, but the only way Blake is going to survive is if Gordon doesn't cut him any slack.
He'll get him back, I promise. One way or another...
Next installment will hopefully be up in a couple of days. :)

I really liked the addition of Renee! She's one of my favourite characters. :)
And the little chase at the end! Wonderful! Made my monday morning.

I love your Gordon. His adjustment to change, and the dynamic between him and Blake is awesome. Gordon's still the senior in the partnership, and the Bat suit doesn't change that; I love that he continues to compare the old and the new Batman, even while he's trying to be fair.
I also really loved your MCU backdrop. The listing of what happened to the various detectives, the blows they'd taken, and their portrayals. Not to mention your Lucius! I could totally hear them in Morgan Freeman's voice. You're doing a lovely job. Carry on! I will be huddling over my browser, obsessively hitting refresh until your next update!

One thing I always loved about the TAS was the GCPD family, so I was really happy when they made that central to the plot of TDK, and to some extent TDKR too. I recently started working my way through Gotham Central too, which has my little heart all of a pitter-patter. Cops in Gotham have got it rough, but that's never stopped them being awesome.
Hopefully I'll have the next chapter up in a couple of days.
