Another good chapter. I especially like the bit about Bruce knowing Gordon is cold before Gordon does.

Oh, my, this chapter's a heartbreaker! Jim alone and Bruce afraid of rejection and Jim reflecting that Barbara never understood his need to protect Gotham, only Bruce does.

So glad you think its a heartbreaker! Well every woman rejected him! Rachel, Miranda, Selina...Jim has ALWAYS been the only one who thought like Batman. They should have come out to each other sooner ;-)
