Lovely fic ! I like to see the ways people imagine Bruce and/or The Batman could come back after TDKR. The last part is a really good conclusion to the Bruce and Jim story, I love that line especially "He spends the whole night touching Bruce, and being touched in return, and it’s... odd. Embarrassing, even. But like most of the things they do, they’re willing to persevere for a better future." because it makes so much sense that such a huge shift in their relationship after all they've been going through together feels odd. But it's so very much like them to never admit defeat and strive hard for something better. And I was amused that Bruce avoided Jim for six months after their first kiss : so brave to fight bad guys but a bit of a coward when it comes to love (can't say that I blame him, though, after the Rachel fiasco !)

Heh! I was wondering if someone would point out that Bruce's six months avoidance was uncharacteristic cowardice. It's such a slash fanfic trope, though, isn't it? Just had to use it somewhere.

Very, very lovely. It all feels very much like a natural progression - inevitable, almost. The bit near the end about their inability to have normal relationships and normal lives, in addition to kind of breaking my heart, really hits the mark in terms of why their relationship works so well anyway.

Oh, that's beautiful. I really enjoyed the writing in that one, and the atmosphere. I especially loved the sort-of-not-really-but-it-counts of the first touch, and especially adored the opening line of the third. (I stopped to read it a couple of times, because it tickled me so much.)

This quiet, contemplative quality to the piece is one of my favorite styles. Thanks for writing it!

Guh, this is beautiful! The ebb and flow of their slowly developing relationship and the closing paragraphs in particular are supremely gorgeous!

The very essence of why these two work for me is because they're the exception to each other's rules. So I'm really glad I'm not the only one who loves this pairing. ^_^
