- Your Babs, so determined, logical, and self-possessed; her motivations are crystal-clear.
- Gordon's reasoning for continuing to send his cops into every situation even when Batman and co. are there.
- How much you reference the past, i.e., in Nolanverse. These two have really gone through some shit, haven't they? *wibbles*
- The overall feeling that what Jim and Bruce have is so tenuous, but so deeply felt that there's really no other way for them to go about it. If that makes sense.
So bravo, and thank you - Bruce/Jim fic is so hard to come by these days!

I don't have a ton of knowledge of all things Bat Family from the comics as I haven't read the comics with any consistency (mostly just reading well-recommended compilations/storylines after the fact like Year One and The Dark Knight of course and such stuff). I'm mostly a Batfan from movies and TV shows (both animated and live action) and haven't been all that into the Bat Family at all so was kinda glad Nolan didn't really go there.
But this fic both makes me believe it can fit with the Nolanverse and gives great Bruce/Jim drama. Impressive! Wow.
(And the more I think about it, the more I think how easy Dick Grayson could fit into the Nolanverse given what became of Wayne Manor and everything.)
I do love that you have Gordon recognize his daughter instantly-- I think he would.

I don't have a ton of knowledge on the Bat Family either, but what little I knew was interesting to imagine from a Nolanverse perspective. My major, major issue with Nolanverse was time. The best years of Bruce's life are basically lost in the first seven years he's away (anywhere between 20 and 29) and then the eight years he spends as a hermit crab (30 to 38). Not to mention trying to coordinate Gordon and Babs' ages around this fic in a believable way. I admit, I mostly ended up picking an appropriate age and running with it. ^_^
But thanks. I'm glad it was an interesting read.

The Bat Family in itself is so interesting, it was fun to try to figure out how they'd fit into Nolanverse.
I'm glad the fic worked. :)

You are so talented!
It was very interesting to read how you managed to bring the whole batfamily in this Nolan style.
I look forward to more fics of you. =)

p.s- Now I'm craving *Jason* in Nolanverse! I think that would really be epic. And possibly, since Nolanverse Bruce seems somehow more fragile than almost every other medium, it would definitely break him to have the Jason storyline happen in Nolanverse.
