YAY! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the first day... :)
Awwww... By the end of the year you'll be able to run up those stairs... :)
That is the one thing that ticks me off... If a prof or TA isn't going to be there they should put up a note on every door that leads into the lecture hall saying that class is cancelled... Sometimes the universities don't think...
As for books thats what I ended up doing this year... I stood in one line and Tom another... Because this year they have royally messed up our book store... You can no longer just go in and get your books... You have to print your course list, and wait in a bunch of different lines (4 of them) (it took be an hour and a half just to get into the store), and then one of the employees will take your list find your books and then come give them to you... I know why they're doing this but still they need to come up with a better way...
Yes. By that time, I'll have very muscle-y legs. So much strong muscles I can kill someone with it. Hahaha...
I know! And I kept on looking on their website for announcements and they said NOTHING. They just think that we have no lives at all... when in reality, that time could have been used for studying... *ahem*
That's sort of gay. All I know is that they're pretty strict in terms of books at mine. All the books have some sort of magnetic thing just like all the other normal stores. I actually got "caught" in that whole thing in first year when I brought an unopened package of books to the bookstore that I had paid for beforehand. They ended up taking it and made me go back home to look for the receipt to show that I paid for it. But your bookstore is just anal. =/
Did you wait in the upstairs (computer store area) line? Cuz I always found that it was shorter there than on the main floor. Also, I heard that you can preorder your books online and then just go pick them up.
I hate the Med Sci building too. I frequently get lost inside. The only good thing about it is that there is a Tim Horton's downstairs lol.
No... I was stupid enough to line up at the medical sciences section. I always thought that you had to pay for the books that you get there in that section... there is a sign for it too. =/
Yup. I like how there's that new area with the trees and stuff.. and it's indoors. It looks like a place where you can relax.
Mark basically sells make-up and beauty stuff while Avon sells the same thing plus other stuff as well. Are you interested in a catalogue? I can give you my friend's number so that you can call her for one. She actually asked me to do this for her. =P
