True Blood season 3 thoughts
Thought I would scribble down my thoughts on season 3 so far..... ;) book spoilers of course under the cut!
So far I think the first two episodes has been really good, not great, but good.
There has been some stuff in the episodes that hasn't really made any sense to me;
Like for example: I do not understand why they are bringing Calvin and Crystal Norris in SOOO early.
In the books they first appear in book four, but I'm guessing the writers want Crystal especially to be in the show early, in order to give Jason a meaningful relationship again and also build up the storylines for future seasons.
Tara, I don't know what to think of. At the end of episode 2 it almost looks like she and Franklin is gonna be like a vampire/human Sid and Nancy or something, well only time will tell. I do like the fact that the writers kinda gave Franklin a purpose for being in Bon Temps, in the books if I remember correctly it's never mentioned.
Does anyone get the whole thing with Lorena coming into Russells house, only to have Bill trowing a liquid on her that makes her burst in to flames??
I mean, is she dead now, or will she just heal herself??? 'Cause it got me confused.
I do like the fact that Kristin Bauer is getting much more screen time than before and also that they are kinda exploring and showing more of the relationship she has with Eric
I love the fact that Eric is such a big part of season 3 this year, I mean hasn't he had almost more screentime in the first two episode than he had entire season 1.
I can't wait until episode 3 when Alcide is introduced! He's one of my favourite Were characters in the books.
I really hope and wish that season 3 will end with Eric running naked and confused down a road, as a good start for season 4.
