Summary: Tatsuya finally comes back and changes into... a insanely mysterious calm hott fantasy boy

“Can you believe that joker?! Honestly what is with the ‘hot fairy watcher’?! He wasn’t like this before! HA! What a joke he said he was going to have a 6 pack but he STILL doesn’t! What’s taking him so long anyways? And don’t even get me started on his lame hair! It’s the exact same color he used 5 years ago in that spray on hair dye of his! What? He can’t afford actual hair dye or even go to a salon? He could have made money by selling his fairy stories around but even THAT wouldn’t get him enough money! You know what…..”
Before Ryo could say anything more Pi put his hands over Ryo’s mouth. He had enough of Ryo’s poor criticism for his crush… EX crush as Ryo had put it.
“Pi, he changed. He completely changed. He’s all freakin’ emo and a wannabe fantasy creature dude. Like seriously, I can’t recognize him. I thought I knew him but I guess I actually don’t. England did no good to Tatsu…Ueda at all.” Ryo was depressed every time he thought of how Tatsuya was currently. Just seeing Tatsuya made his heart ache but he didn’t know why. Was it because Tatsuya changed or was there really more than meets the eye?
“Well, it’s actually not surprising that he changed considering at least 5 years have gone by. He’s 14 not 9. You have to face the facts nothing is going to stay the same forever.” Pi replied with a very caring tone knowing how his best friend is and all.
“I guess it can’t be helped. Oh, I have to go talk to Johnny-san now. Ja~”
“Wait, why do you need to see him?”
“He said I’m going to be put into something big, life changing thing. I don’t like change and at least I know THAT’S never going to change.”
“If you say so Ryo-chan. It might even be a debut!”
Ryo rolls his eyes at his best friend’s high unlikely answer.
“I’m only 13 how could I possibly debut at my age”
“True and you also look like 10 instead of 13. Well whatever it is I’m the person you tell the deeds to first, you got that?”
“Roger that.” Ryo ended with a salute to Yamapi and left the juniors dressing room.

A mere 20 minutes passed and Ryo walks away from Johnny’s office. Yep, Johnny was right. It was a big change…and change was something Ryo did not want. He wonders through the halls by himself and stops to see a very familiar (or now Unfamiliar) Ueda Tatsuya surrounded by other juniors.
“So you can see fairies?!”
“Honto?! Sugoi!”
“Where are they now?”
Was all Ryo could hear while passing the hallway. He was in a foul mood and was not in the mood for any joking around with the now fantasy princess and her bunch of fairy believers. Tatsuya noticed Ryo’s face and being the nice ‘fairy’ boy he is used a tactic Ryo wasn’t so fond of.
“There.”
“Huh?”
“The fairy is following Nishikido Ryo. It seems to like Nishikido’s company very much and doesn’t seem to want to separate from him.”
Ryo stood in his place in disbelief. Why was it when Tatsuya talked now that his voice was always so calm and mysterious? Why did he drag him into his ridiculous fairy story? Wait! Did Tatsuya just use him to make himself more popular? And it happened to Ryo just when he wanted to be alone? Ryo could not believe it. He couldn’t believe in any of it.
“I don’t have a stinkin’ fairy with me they don’t even exist. That makes you an emo fairy seeing freak!”
“Anno… You just said I could see fairies… Aren’t you contradicting yourself in less than 2 seconds?”
Ryo paused to think of something. Tatsuya caught this and added a very uncharacteristic comment but currently it was very him.
“Oh, there’s another fairy right beside you. It is kind of like they’re your guardian angels. Sadly, I don’t think they would do you any good in how you make your decisions.”
Tatsuya’s comeback was surprising very cold and calm. Unlike his past self who was hot and rash.
So Ryo froze. His tongue was stuck and his tongue was soft. Ryo left in a haste to the juniors dressing room and murmured “Stupid insane fairy boy!”
In the end, Ryo’s tongue could not beat out Tatsuya’s calm response. All Tatsuya could do was smirk at the corner of his eye without anyone noticing.
Ryo entered the junior’s dressing room which by now had no soul in sight. Being in a bad mood, Ryo kicked the nearest chair he found and sat at the couch instead which his arms crossed and a pout across his face. Finally he was alone and could listen to his own thoughts. He was stopped dozens of times by other juniors asking him to hang or just play around. He couldn’t help it if he was just that popular. But it didn’t take long for another person to walk in on Ryo’s silent tantrum. Obviously you can guess who came in.
“Yo,’sup short stuff?”
“’Sup with your way of talking fish lips?”
“Ouch, haven’t heard that for a while.” Tatsuya had a very smug smile on his face as he said those words. He started reminiscing the many times Ryo has called him that. It was too much to even remember.
“Seriously? You still remember that?” Ryo said in his most sarcastic voice and in the very best grumpy tone he could make. Why is he even talking to him when he was in one of his worst moods?
“Just because I changed doesn’t mean I’m bad at remembering things.”
“Well, at least you know you’ve changed but do you even remember how to be human? Because it seriously seemed like you are from a completely different planet now.”
This was the first time Ryo ever had talked to Tatsuya about his changes which he unintentionally mentioned since he can’t think as fast as he talks. Everyone knows when Nishikido Ryo is in a bad mood he’ll pick on anything or anybody that bothers him.
“That’s discrimination right there! Just because I can see fairies and you can’t. Well, I wouldn’t be able to blame anyone for being jealous of me~”
Tatsuya held his ‘me’ for a while and started to flap his arms like a little tweety bird while chanting ‘Fairies, fairies, fairies….’ In all kinds of different tones.
Tatsuya’s clownish attitude it back? Ryo had no other choice but to interrupt Tatsuya’s bizarre behavior which in the past would’ve been completely normal.
“Firstly, I don’t want to see fairies, CORRECTION, I don’t even BELIEVE in them. Second, what is with the personality disorder? First you’re spotting fairies, next you talk just like you did 5 years ago, and now your flapping your wings humming about fairies. That was just like combining your former self with your so called ‘new’ one. You will never get popular this way.”
“REALLY?!”
Tatsuya’s eyes popped up which startled Ryo completely. Confused Ryo asks “Really, as in to which thing I said?! I said so much, pick one, THEN go onto ‘really’!”
“Really, as in ‘I won’t get popular if I don’t play the mysterious calm hott fantasy boy?!’” Tatsuya replied still dumbstruck.
All Ryo could do was a palm smack on his own face like he did years ago. So this is what it was all about?
“So this is what it was all about? Getting POPULAR?! You changed how you dress how to act to be popular?!”
“And to be cool.” Tatsuya said innocently with his head cocked slightly to the side.
Ryo couldn’t take it anymore. Now THIS is the Tatsuya he knew. Deep down though Ryo was kind of relieved. It was obvious Tatsuya didn’t discuss this with anyone else and Ryo was probably the first one to have ever heard of this. Tatsuya sensed that Ryo was starting to get annoyed (Note: Ryo was already in a bad mood when you walked in…) so he thought of instead of talking about himself why not talk about the current Nishikido Ryo?
“Enough about me, we don’t need to get into any details but how much have you changed? Besides probably growing 1cm a year.”
The younger used this chance to boast on the many ‘changes’ he has gone through. REAL changes.
“Well, next year I’ll be a senior in middle school, I already can use a mic during the TV shootings AND I did grow MORE than 1cm a year.” Ryo said proudly with a beat-that kind of face.
“Well, I’ll be attending an all boy’s high school, I’m starting to write and compose my own songs which will eventually be featured in TV AND… I’m STILL taller than you.” Tatsuya said directly trying to antagonize Ryo with a smile of triumph slowly drawn on his face.
Ryo did not want to lose the battle but sadly he did, well, there’s always the war and Ryo knew had to win that.
“Well, Johnny-san just transferred me to the Osaka for the Kansai market so I can increase sales there! Can YOU got to Osaka and increase the sales?! I THINK NOT!! It takes talent and good looks to increase sales and I’m sorry but fairy boys AREN’T on the list!!” The younger was now out of breath and trying to take in some air. When he caught his breath he finished with a “What do you think about THAT?!”
Actually Tatsuya couldn’t think at all because his mind could only see white. His mind turned completely blank. Ryo, being the self-righteous person he is, thought he had ended and won the war.
‘I won~!’
Tatsuya was still silent and had an emotionless face though his eyes were filled with sadness. He finally breaks his silence that startled Ryo.
“You’re moving? Moving?! To Osaka?!! JUST A FEW MONTHS AFTER I GOT BACK?!!” Tatsuya wasn’t exactly addressing his question to anyone but himself. He was buried with millions of thoughts coming up.
“Do you hate me that much that you would move just when I got back to Japan?! Is this the amount of hate you have STILL been carrying over 5 years?!”
Ryo was taken back at what Tatsuya just expressed. He couldn’t help but feel guilty and responsible for Tatsuya’s feeling right now. He was clueless in how to possibly react with Tatsuya’s response now. Moreover, he doesn’t know anything anymore. Tatsuya, seeing Ryo’s frozen expression continued on with voicing his thoughts on the verge of tears.
“What do you want me to do for you to stop hating me?! I did this all so I could make you like me!”
“You said you did this to be popular and cool…” Ryo questioned at Tatsuya’s contradiction.
“Yeah, so I could be popular to get your attention and cool enough for you to want to hang with me! Or at least argue and such!”
“You wanted to argue?”
“Well, that was the only one thing we shared just the two of us. No one could get in our way even if they tried and all your attention was on me. But when I thought that all your attention to me was negative…it hurts…” Tatsuya was finally tearing up and his body began to tremble. “I just got back…”
“There’s no helping it, I have to go and that’s what Johnny-san said. It’s official and there’s no changing it. BUT maybe I can come back, on ONE condition.” Ryo said awkwardly trying hard not to face the sniffing Tatsuya.
“If you become who want to be, NOT a fairy boy, but Ueda Tatsuya… I’ll come back as soon as I can. But you have to do what you want WHEN you want when you can. Smile if you want to, let others hear your music if you want to. I just want my old Tat-chan back.”
Tatsuya stared wide eyed at Ryo thinking ‘Did he say MY Tat-chan?!’
“What are you looking at you look ugly like that.” Ryo said with a disgusted look on his face. Tatsuya grinned.
“Well, we’ll see who’s going to be ugly when I get my six pack and show the world how hott I can REALLY be as Ueda Tatsuya and NOT as a insanely mysterious calm hott fantasy boy! Sooner or later you’ll find out who drop dead gorgeous I am.”
“HA! You couldn’t nearly be as drop dead gorgeous as the soon to be Sexy Osaka Man!!”
“You?! SEXY?!”
“See… Thank you very much!” Ryo grinned.
“HA! Not as sexy as Tat-chan’s sexy dance!” Tatsuya swings his hips around and makes a very hard to look erotic face.
“Ughh… Make a better face next time ‘cause you need tons of practice.”
“This is never going to end… ehh?”
“Probably not, but we’ll settle this as men when we debut. Of course I will be the one to debut first.”
“In your dreams!”
“Anyways, I may be visiting Tokyo a bit when the Kansai Juniors are here for Shounen Club, so you better get better whenever I see you.”
“Don’t need to tell me twice…” Tatsuya muttered under his breath.
“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!”

The next week Ryo was on a plane headed for Osaka. This time Tatsuya was the one being left behind and again he may be just be able to change again…back to himself.
Yeah, I think it feels too rushed, SO SORRY for those you read that unpleasent continuation. May write a continuation but will probably take FOREVER to update because of lack of inspiration and homework and such. Sorry for people who didn't like it and read it anyway~!
I so fail at this, so so soooooooo much. It feels rushed but the main problem was I couldn't think of how to end their fussing. Please comment if you read that or to bash at me (will try to remain strong throughout the comments). Thanks for reading~!
