Personality:
Boyko has extremely low self-confidence. From birth to the age he is now, he was picked on, teased, and tormented by his older siblings simply because he was the youngest. Over the years, this has caused him to believe that he simply isn’t a good enough person to be himself. He was a perfectly normal boy until the day he began attending Hogwarts. He had had enough with being called “The Wimpy One” by his siblings and their friends, and decided that he was going to make a change.
Being sorted into Gryffindor was his sole goal once he arrived at Hogwarts, he saw that as his one opportunity to prove to his family that he was worth paying attention to. He feels that being sorted into Hufflepuff is something shameful, as the entire rest of his family dating back to when Hogwarts first opened has been sorted into either Gryffindor, or Slytherin. His father was a Gryffindor, and although his father is somewhat mentally 'not there' nowadays, Boyko remembers when his father was great and successful, and he someday hopes to live up to his father's former glory. He tries to show that he belongs in Gryffindor by putting on his extravagant and extreme act of trying to save everything that comes his way. As a result of the lifestyle that he adopted in first year, he's lost touch with his true self, and has completely lost himself within this character he's created for himself. Even though he is a somewhat bright individual, this extremist behaviour caused him to skive off doing his studies and applying himself to anything but living up to his 'reputation' that he believes corresponds to himself-- which ultimately caused him to fail his 5th year of school. Also, this new alias he's created has prevented him from making many real and lasting friends.
Boyko’s self-created alias believes himself to be the designated Hero of Hogwarts, and despite his cowardly ways he will boast and pretend to delve into the depths of evil to rescue damsels, small children, the like. He's friendly to strangers, unless he believes them to be evil, in which case he will attempt to engage them in a duel. He will not do ANYTHING he believes to be evil or against the law. He's never broken a school rule in fear of tarnishing his good reputation as a bringer of justice. However, Boyko doesn’t have the same set of morals as the typical human being. He will select people (who tend to be Gryffindor girls) as someone to protect. Through anyone else’s point of view, Boyko appears to be stalking them and being a general pain. Boyko assumes that if the particular person is not under his protection, they are not safe. Fundamentally, his intentions are noble, he just happens to be so inept at going about social situations normally that he ends up driving people away, and this usually leads to him getting hexed and/or punched in the face.
The purpose of all of Boyko’s outrageous actions are to prove to the general population that he does in fact belong in Gryffindor. As each act becomes more and more outrageous and far-fetched, the more he feels that he is showing up the Sorting Hat’s decision and above all, convince himself that he is worth something other than the dejected, self-concious boy that he is.
Recently, Boyko’s mental health has been somewhat on the outs. He has suffered a mild nervous breakdown, which is slowly causing him to re-evaluate himself. Boyko has realized that in order to maintain the position he feels is his to uphold until the day he leaves Hogwarts, he must gain some academic backings. Boyko acknowledges that he cannot fail his fifth year again, and has resolved to do well in his academic subjects. He feels that by sacrificing his general protective sweep of Hogwarts, that focusing in on one person to ‘guard’ is acceptable.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Boyko doesn't really have any talents he considers valuable. The only subject he's ever been good at is Herbology, which he is very gifted at, although he doesn't like to admit it. He keeps a small garden at home, which he hides from the rest of his family. He tends to it lovingly and has grown some very spectacular specimens. His second-best subject is Divination, which he enjoys studying more than he likes to admit. He's always been very intuitive and sensitive to his surroundings. However, this is only when he takes the time to pay attention to these senses. Most of the time, he doesn't tune into his senses and ignores the premonitions he might have noticed had he only slowed down long enough to acknowledge them.
He's also quite good with Care of Magical Creatures, but he's somewhat scared of anything bigger than a Niffler, having been thrown into various situations with his childhood friends' large and somewhat frightening pets. As long as he doesn't have to encounter them himself, he is perfectly happy with the Animal Kingdom.
Secretly, he's a very loving and caring individual, which is one of the reason's he's so good at Herbology. He harbours a secret passion to become a Herbologist, but he feels that his family would never accept his chosen career path.

In truth, Boyko has a quite favourable personality, but over his years of being teased for his sensitivity he has come to think that who he is isn't a noble, or brave enough person to be himself around other people. The only person he has ever been able to be himself around is his cousin, Daciana.
When he applies himself, Boyko is usually a bright and intelligent boy. However, although he is extremely dedicated and hardworking, he applies himself to things other than scholastic endeavours. He has a fairly obsessiver personality and tends to go through extremist phases where he will solely worship the one current mindset he is in. When he discovers one of these strange hobbies he devotes every part of himself towards it, and tends to lose his way academically somewhere in the process.

His family has rarely shown any pride or acknowledgement towards him, and he is in a constant state of neglect. He thought that when he arrived at Hogwarts, being sorted into Gryffindor would be his only chance to prove to his family that he was worth paying attention to. Because he was sorted into Hufflepuff, he feels that he has shamed his family, and he fears that they will now never accept him for who he truly is.
Boyko also has a fear of large animals, and in this context large is anything bigger than a Niffler. As a boy, his 'friends' (other pure-blooding children his parents dubbed appropriate for him to fraternize with) were prone to 'toughening the runt up' by tossing him unceremoniously into pens, which housed their large and (mostly harmless) exotic pets. Of course, one fateful day, Boyko had an unfortunate experience with a Diricawl, whose vanishing act caused him to be bed-ridden for a week due to shock.
History:
Boyko was born in Swansea, Wales, on January 20th, 1988. He grew up with three older siblings, two of whom went on a power trip when he reached the age of eight and realized how easy a target he was for bullying and manipulating to do their bidding.
Boyko never exhibited any profound talents as a child, and for a number of years his parents feared he was a Squib until he managed to somehow escape from a particularily vicious pet of his eldest brother. One minute he was on one side of the animal's cage, being pursued by the animal, and the next he found himself on the opposite side. Boyko's family celebrated and congratulated him. There has only been one other time in Boyko's life where he has felt truly appreciated by his family; the day he received his acceptance letter into Hogwarts. Of course, his entire family had attended, and had been sorted into Gryffindor. Boyko was crestfallen when he was dubbed a Hufflepuff, and it was at this time he began to develop the exuberant and highly unnatural personality he is well known for now.
In his first year, he became good friends with Zak Reso, who seemed to find Boyko's newfound antics quite amusing. Boyko didn't have many other Hogwarts friends at the time, so he took Zak's attention as some form of encouragement, and over the next few years he developed his character more and more. His actions became more extravagant, his gestures more grandiose, and his vocabulary more Medieval. He didn't adopt his mentality of being Hogwarts' Divine Hero until his fifth year, when Zak and he began to drift apart. Obviously in school, growing apart from one another is a very natural occurrence, and doesn’t necessarily happen for any other reason than becoming friends with other people, class schedules that have changed, etc. However, Boyko took the loss of this friendship rather hard, thinking that the reason that Zak wasn’t spending time with him anymore was because Boyko wasn’t Gryffindor or brave enough to be his friend anymore. Boyko still idolizes Zak to a degree, because he is an older Gryffindor who was actually befriending him. It was during this time that Boyko met Vincent Monroe in the Common Room, reading a superhero comic book. Boyko sort of latched onto Vincent, following him around like a lost puppy, and eventually they became friends.
Boyko is much younger than the rest of his siblings. His sister Bryanne, being nineteen years old as of 2005 is his closest sibling. She was the only one who sympathized with him to a degree, as she saw how badly he was bullied by his two older brothers. She was at Hogwarts with him for his first four years, and of course she was a Gryffindor. She graduated after his fourth year. Fifth year the first time around was painfully difficult for Boyko. The loss of his sister at school with him, as well as his fading friendship with Zak and the stresses of the O.W.L. exams combined are key factors as to why Boyko behaves the way he does and why he failed his fifth year. One of the reasons why Boyko didn’t completely lose his mind was the constant comfort provided by his cousin Daciana, whom Boyko had been close with since their first year, when they actually had the opportunity to properly spend time together.
Physical Description: At the least, provide base details of build, height, eye/hair colour, and complexion. Boyko is Caucasian, about five-foot-ten, with black hair and brown eyes. He’s got a fairly small build, and is rather skinny. (As stated above, his chosen P.B is Penn Badgley)

Fargus Phobos (Father): Boyko has never really spent any quality time with his father. Being an alchemist, he spends much of his time cooped up in various laboratories in his family’s house, and is a bit of an eccentric. The only real contact Boyko has ever had with him are the two occasions in his life when he has made his family proud, and when he has ‘accidentally’ stumbled in on his father at work. Boyko was always making up excuses as to why he’d interrupted his father’s work, only in the hopes of spending time with him. Back in the day, Boyko’s father was a great alchemist, on the brink of discovering something very top secret and with the promise of making him extrememly successful. However, he failed miserably due to a single miscalculation, and the only thing that resulted of this 'great discovery' was a gigantic explosion. After being housed in St.Mungos for months, doctors said he would never fully recover from the accident. Fargus' mind was permanently 'shattered' by the explosion combined with the stress of failure.
Laurel Phobos (Mother): Laurel is the older sister of Imogen Javensworth. Laurel was a Slytherin in Hogwarts, and met Boyko's father in their classes, as they were the same year. She knew that he came from a very successful, wealthy family, and she married him because of his money. His family's wealth is the reason Laurel has remained with him after the 'incident,' nine years ago. Boyko is somewhat afraid of his mother. She usually ignores him, unless it's for those few pure-blooding galas that it is manditory he attend, and then she is sending him to various etiquette tutors, and attempting to make him as 'presentable' as possible.
Blaine & Braeden Phobos (Older Brothers): Boyko idolizes his two brothers, even if they were constantly manipulating him, and bullying him as a child. They both lead successful lives, and are favoured by their parents. Boyko was never at school with either of them, so he doesn't know them as well as he knows his sister, but he writes to them, even if they don't respond very often, and he sees them upon occasion.
Bryanne Phobos (Older Sister): Boyko loves his sister, and is the only one he is truly able to open up to. She was at Hogwarts with him for his first four years, and she put up with him tagging along after her on many occasions when he was trying to escape from bullies. She always believed in him fighting his own battles, however, and did not go after those who bullied her brother. Boyko took it rather hard when she graduated, because she was the only one he had ever felt comfortable talking to as himself. He hasn't heard much from her for the past two years, as she is off making herself known as a Quidditch Player, trying out for various teams and the like.
Friends:
Zak Reso: Boyko and Zak used to be comrades-at-arms (well in their case comrades-with-capes.) Boyko looks up to Zak immensely, and Zak was one of the few people in his life that treated him as a normal human being. Boyko still values Zak's friendship very much, even if they are not as good friends as they used to be, and he wishes that he could spend more time with him.
Vincent Monroe: Boyko has an odd friendship with Vincent. Boyko is unaware of the fact that Vincent is embarrassed to be seen with him, and doesn't hold back in being as dramatic as possible around him. Boyko, for some reason, always wants to impress Vincent, and will attempt many 'daring' tasks whilst he is around so that Vincent will think he is a Divine Hero, indeed. He does not confide to Vincent about his 'stalking' of other Hogwarts students, however.
Other:
Taylor & Darin DeLouise: Boyko absolutely loathes these two. Having been their roommate for the duration of their time at Hogwarts, he cannot stand them at all. They tease him, prank him, punch him, you name it. Boyko doesn't seem to know when to give up with them, though. He consistently aggravates them and enjoys annoying them to their wits end, so it is usually his own fault that he gets treated the way he does by them.
Anora Bertrade: Anora was the first girl Boyko began following around when he deemed that having one person to 'protect' was appropriate. From September to December, when Anora finally got pushed over the edge by his actions and had to resort to violence to stop him from following her, Boyko tailed after her and tried to learn the 'ways of the Gryffindor.' He thought that by following her, that he would learn how to be more Gryffindor, and then by some miracle, the Sorting Hat would change its decision and put him in Gryffindor.
Calie Myers: Boyko began following Calie around once it was made clear that is was no longer safe to follow around Anora, or be anywhere near her or her friends, (especially Hannah, whom Boyko is terrified of.) He finds her very intriguing, and recently made a breakthrough confession to her when she cornered him about his actions. Calie may just be the person Boyko can confide to and hopefully with this, he can slowly (very slowly, as he has much work to do) work his way back to the person he knows he is deep down. (How cheesy of me, I know.)

When he discovers something that he wants to accomplish (which are usually far-fetched, and sometimes creepy endeavours) he works tirelessly at ways to achieve what he wants, and will not rest until he either accomplishes what he set out to do, or has discovered another task to work towards. To the few friends he has, he is fiercely loyal to, and has never betrayed any one of their trust, for he values his friendships beyond anything.

Boyko strutted down the halls, waving to the civilians and allowing his embroidered cape to swish dramatically behind him. He especially loved rounding corners, as his cape made a very impressive *whoosh*'ing noise. He absent-mindedly ran a hand through his silky locks, and approached the immense doors to the Great Hall. He attempted to make the grandiose gesture of slamming both doors open with great gusto to dramatize his entrance into the Great Hall for supper. Unfortunately for him, the end of his cape became stuck in the doors as they slammed shut behind him, and it pulled him backwards, causing himself to crash quite loudly into the doors.
"Nothing to worry, good people!" he called out with a wave of his hand, "I am all right!" and he attempted to fumble his way out of the door. He eventually got himself untangled from his cape, turned himself around, and opened the doors to yank his cape out. Fastening it once more around his neck, he made his way to the Hufflepuff table for a hearty meal.

He thought that when he arrived at Hogwarts, being sorted into Gryffindor would be his only chance to prove to his family that he was worth paying attention to. Because he was sorted into Hufflepuff, he feels that he has shamed his family, and he fears that they will now never accept him for who he truly is.
Boyko also has a fear of large animals, and in this context large is anything bigger than a Niffler. As a boy, his 'friends' (other pure-blooding children his parents dubbed appropriate for him to fraternize with) were prone to 'toughening the runt up' by tossing him unceremoniously into pens, which housed their large and (mostly harmless) exotic pets. Of course, one fateful day, Boyko had an unfortunate experience with a Diricawl, whose vanishing act caused him to be bed-ridden for a week due to shock.
History:
Boyko was born in Swansea, Wales, on January 20th, 1988. He grew up with three older siblings, two of whom went on a power trip when he reached the age of eight and realized how easy a target he was for bullying and manipulating to do their bidding.
Boyko never exhibited any profound talents as a child, and for a number of years his parents feared he was a Squib until he managed to somehow escape from a particularily vicious pet of his eldest brother. One minute he was on one side of the animal's cage, being pursued by the animal, and the next he found himself on the opposite side. Boyko's family celebrated and congratulated him. There has only been one other time in Boyko's life where he has felt truly appreciated by his family; the day he received his acceptance letter into Hogwarts. Of course, his entire family had attended, and had been sorted into Gryffindor. Boyko was crestfallen when he was dubbed a Hufflepuff, and it was at this time he began to develop the exuberant and highly unnatural personality he is well known for now.
In his first year, he became good friends with Zak Reso, who seemed to find Boyko's newfound antics quite amusing. Boyko didn't have many other Hogwarts friends at the time, so he took Zak's attention as some form of encouragement, and over the next few years he developed his character more and more. His actions became more extravagant, his gestures more grandiose, and his vocabulary more Medieval. He didn't adopt his mentality of being Hogwarts' Divine Hero until his fifth year, when Zak and he began to drift apart. Obviously in school, growing apart from one another is a very natural occurrence, and doesn’t necessarily happen for any other reason than becoming friends with other people, class schedules that have changed, etc. However, Boyko took the loss of this friendship rather hard, thinking that the reason that Zak wasn’t spending time with him anymore was because Boyko wasn’t Gryffindor or brave enough to be his friend anymore. Boyko still idolizes Zak to a degree, because he is an older Gryffindor who was actually befriending him. It was during this time that Boyko met Vincent Monroe in the Common Room, reading a superhero comic book. Boyko sort of latched onto Vincent, following him around like a lost puppy, and eventually they became friends.
Boyko is much younger than the rest of his siblings. His sister Bryanne, being nineteen years old as of 2005 is his closest sibling. She was the only one who sympathized with him to a degree, as she saw how badly he was bullied by his two older brothers. She was at Hogwarts with him for his first four years, and of course she was a Gryffindor. She graduated after his fourth year. Fifth year the first time around was painfully difficult for Boyko. The loss of his sister at school with him, as well as his fading friendship with Zak and the stresses of the O.W.L. exams combined are key factors as to why Boyko behaves the way he does and why he failed his fifth year. One of the reasons why Boyko didn’t completely lose his mind was the constant comfort provided by his cousin Daciana, whom Boyko had been close with since their first year, when they actually had the opportunity to properly spend time together.
Physical Description: At the least, provide base details of build, height, eye/hair colour, and complexion. Boyko is Caucasian, about five-foot-ten, with black hair and brown eyes. He’s got a fairly small build, and is rather skinny. (As stated above, his chosen P.B is Penn Badgley)

Fargus Phobos (Father): Boyko has never really spent any quality time with his father. Being an alchemist, he spends much of his time cooped up in various laboratories in his family’s house, and is a bit of an eccentric. The only real contact Boyko has ever had with him are the two occasions in his life when he has made his family proud, and when he has ‘accidentally’ stumbled in on his father at work. Boyko was always making up excuses as to why he’d interrupted his father’s work, only in the hopes of spending time with him. Back in the day, Boyko’s father was a great alchemist, on the brink of discovering something very top secret and with the promise of making him extrememly successful. However, he failed miserably due to a single miscalculation, and the only thing that resulted of this 'great discovery' was a gigantic explosion. After being housed in St.Mungos for months, doctors said he would never fully recover from the accident. Fargus' mind was permanently 'shattered' by the explosion combined with the stress of failure.
Laurel Phobos (Mother): Laurel is the older sister of Imogen Javensworth. Laurel was a Slytherin in Hogwarts, and met Boyko's father in their classes, as they were the same year. She knew that he came from a very successful, wealthy family, and she married him because of his money. His family's wealth is the reason Laurel has remained with him after the 'incident,' nine years ago. Boyko is somewhat afraid of his mother. She usually ignores him, unless it's for those few pure-blooding galas that it is manditory he attend, and then she is sending him to various etiquette tutors, and attempting to make him as 'presentable' as possible.
Blaine & Braeden Phobos (Older Brothers): Boyko idolizes his two brothers, even if they were constantly manipulating him, and bullying him as a child. They both lead successful lives, and are favoured by their parents. Boyko was never at school with either of them, so he doesn't know them as well as he knows his sister, but he writes to them, even if they don't respond very often, and he sees them upon occasion.
Bryanne Phobos (Older Sister): Boyko loves his sister, and is the only one he is truly able to open up to. She was at Hogwarts with him for his first four years, and she put up with him tagging along after her on many occasions when he was trying to escape from bullies. She always believed in him fighting his own battles, however, and did not go after those who bullied her brother. Boyko took it rather hard when she graduated, because she was the only one he had ever felt comfortable talking to as himself. He hasn't heard much from her for the past two years, as she is off making herself known as a Quidditch Player, trying out for various teams and the like.
Friends:
Zak Reso: Boyko and Zak used to be comrades-at-arms (well in their case comrades-with-capes.) Boyko looks up to Zak immensely, and Zak was one of the few people in his life that treated him as a normal human being. Boyko still values Zak's friendship very much, even if they are not as good friends as they used to be, and he wishes that he could spend more time with him.
Vincent Monroe: Boyko has an odd friendship with Vincent. Boyko is unaware of the fact that Vincent is embarrassed to be seen with him, and doesn't hold back in being as dramatic as possible around him. Boyko, for some reason, always wants to impress Vincent, and will attempt many 'daring' tasks whilst he is around so that Vincent will think he is a Divine Hero, indeed. He does not confide to Vincent about his 'stalking' of other Hogwarts students, however.
Other:
Taylor & Darin DeLouise: Boyko absolutely loathes these two. Having been their roommate for the duration of their time at Hogwarts, he cannot stand them at all. They tease him, prank him, punch him, you name it. Boyko doesn't seem to know when to give up with them, though. He consistently aggravates them and enjoys annoying them to their wits end, so it is usually his own fault that he gets treated the way he does by them.
Anora Bertrade: Anora was the first girl Boyko began following around when he deemed that having one person to 'protect' was appropriate. From September to December, when Anora finally got pushed over the edge by his actions and had to resort to violence to stop him from following her, Boyko tailed after her and tried to learn the 'ways of the Gryffindor.' He thought that by following her, that he would learn how to be more Gryffindor, and then by some miracle, the Sorting Hat would change its decision and put him in Gryffindor.
Calie Myers: Boyko began following Calie around once it was made clear that is was no longer safe to follow around Anora, or be anywhere near her or her friends, (especially Hannah, whom Boyko is terrified of.) He finds her very intriguing, and recently made a breakthrough confession to her when she cornered him about his actions. Calie may just be the person Boyko can confide to and hopefully with this, he can slowly (very slowly, as he has much work to do) work his way back to the person he knows he is deep down. (How cheesy of me, I know.)

Why are they in that house? Although Boyko may not be daringly brave, or extremely intelligent, Boyko is a hardworking, compassionate, and loyal individual. When he discovers something that he wants to accomplish (which are usually far-fetched, and sometimes creepy endeavours) he works tirelessly at ways to achieve what he wants, and will not rest until he either accomplishes what he set out to do, or has discovered another task to work towards. To the few friends he has, he is fiercely loyal to, and has never betrayed any one of their trust, for he values his friendships beyond anything.

Boyko strutted down the halls, waving to the civilians and allowing his embroidered cape to swish dramatically behind him. He especially loved rounding corners, as his cape made a very impressive *whoosh*'ing noise. He absent-mindedly ran a hand through his silky locks, and approached the immense doors to the Great Hall. He attempted to make the grandiose gesture of slamming both doors open with great gusto to dramatize his entrance into the Great Hall for supper. Unfortunately for him, the end of his cape became stuck in the doors as they slammed shut behind him, and it pulled him backwards, causing himself to crash quite loudly into the doors.
"Nothing to worry, good people!" he called out with a wave of his hand, "I am all right!" and he attempted to fumble his way out of the door. He eventually got himself untangled from his cape, turned himself around, and opened the doors to yank his cape out. Fastening it once more around his neck, he made his way to the Hufflepuff table for a hearty meal.
