She has shoulder length curly red hair with blue/green eyes. She’s fair skinned with freckles. She’s not overly skinny, she’s got some chub on her, but she’s by no means over weight. I figured it just made sense since Leprechaun's are from Ireland and she's Irish... if she got the wand from a local wand maker there, I would imagine that perhaps the Leprechaun Hair wouldn't be as rare in wands as it would be in other places in Europe. But maybe thats just my line of thinking -- if its a big deal, then I can change it. I just thought it'd be cool :)

Personality:
Tegan has a very friendly, sweet disposition, but she is rather shy. She is reserved and doesn’t exactly know how to put herself out there, so its hard for her to make a lot of friends and/or be amongst the popular crowd. Her social skills are lacking - blaming it on the whole home school thing when she was little. Even though she’s been at Hogwarts for six years, she still has issues! She often withdraws herself when she is afraid or overwhelmed with situations, some might call her anti-social because of it.
But if you’re able to get past this shy side, if you’re able to win her over and actually get her to talk to you easily and comfortably, then you’ll see just what a gem she is. Not that she’s afraid to talk to people, but her fear lies in initiating things. She’s very passive in that way. She figures if someone wants to talk to her, then they will and… if not, if no one strikes up a conversation? Well, then its best that she not put herself out there to be rejected. So, sadly because of this, she only has a small circle of close friends.
But again, she is a sweet, friendly girl. She cares deeply for people even when she doesn’t know them well. It doesn’t take much for her to like you once she gets to know you a little, although she might be a bit judgmental at first. But in the end, even if she does judge a person at first glance, she is always proven wrong because once seeing a bit of who they are, she generally sees the good in them. Unless there isn’t much good in them, in which case she’ll likely just try to stay away from those people.
Tegan is an emotional girl but… somehow she doesn’t seem to connect with her emotions much. She feels deeply; both love, hurt, pain, anger, etc., but she just doesn’t know how to deal with them! If she wants or needs to cry… she likely won’t be able to. The tears just won’t flow for her, no matter how much she wishes she could break. She’ll likely cry more about something sweet that she saw or heard rather than some harsh words that were thrown her way. Its silly and she doesn’t really understand it herself, but again, she rolls with it without asking many questions.
In line with that, she does get angry and annoyed quite a bit and her temper does flair, but she’s too sweet of a person to actually lash out and do anything about it. If someone angers or hurts her she’ll likely just suppress it or wallow in her self pity or do something to get her mind off of it, rather than confronting or settling the score. She fears hurting people’s feelings and she hates conflict so… yeah. She’d rather be hurt herself than having the other person feel that way. It kind of makes for a good target - people can easily take advantage of her if they wanted to because she’s so eager to please and will often play the door mat.
Luckily, though, as time goes by, she is realizing this fact and trying to change how she handles things and people. She doesn’t like the fact that some walk all over her and she doesn’t like that she is a people pleaser to a painful level, but that’s just how she’s always been. Only her family sees her more ugly side, the side that is more stubborn and confrontational and selfish.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
She loves History of Magic for some reason… its possibly her favorite class despite its having the habit of being boring. She’s good with her wand, so she gets the better half of her marks in Charms, Transfig, and DADA. Nothing stellar, but she has a natural ability, and tries hard enough. She is now quite good at flying as well. Horrible at first, but because of her love for flying, she has worked hard to become better throughout the years.
Personality wise, her strength is being a caring person. In seeing the person for who they are and just understanding where they are at or where they are coming from. She is highly compassionate and feels deeply, wishing that she could mend other peoples pain.
Weaknesses: Both magical and personality:
Potions… she wishes she could be good with potions, but she just isn’t! She almost tries too much, but it always ends up as a disaster. Herbology and Astronomy aren’t much better. Neither class has really ever caught her interest, so she does the minimal to get by.
With her personality, her weakness is definitely with her insecure, shy nature. She lives her life through fear of rejection, so that holds her back from knowing herself, knowing others, and just having an overall fun time. She doesn't know how great she is! So she holds back, staying where she feels comfortable.

As mentioned above, the fear of rejection is a huge deal for her. She doesn't even know or realize that this issue is whats holding her back from being a confident, free person! She worries too much of what others will think of her... even if its not a conscience thing. Other fears are just speaking up in front of people... she rarely will speak up in class and dreads her professors calling on her.
As for what motivates her -- she wants to make her parents proud. She may not be a big brain, but she studies and works hard enough to get good grades. Heck, she doesn't even have to study that much, she was just born lucky to be a good test taker and write good essays. She is motivated by her dreams as well... knowing that if she works hard, if she lives as a good person, that she can accomplish whatever she wants.

Tegan’s childhood was fairly sheltered - being the youngest of four girls. Her mother home schooled all four girls during their primary years. She would have been allowed to go to a public school much like her sisters, if she hadn’t received a letter from Hogwarts when she was ten.
Her family is a loving one, but they aren’t extremely close or anything, although she would likely do anything for them. Tegan, if asked, would say that she is closest to her mother and her sister Mairwen… but even then, sometimes she feels isolated. It was always hard for her to be the youngest, having been teased by her older sisters quite a bit. But it taught her to hold her own, fight back a little and not get offended by every little thing that was said to her or about her.
She’s grown up in the same place all her life - Closkelt, a small town in Northern Ireland that is quickly growing. It’s her home… where she feels the most comfortable. She has so many memories there and so many friends and family members, that a piece of her heart will probably always remain there, no matter how far she goes in the future. So it’s hard for her sometimes to be off at Hogwarts, because she misses everyone so much. But also, at the same time, it is nice to get away, so she’s thankful for the escape. Kind of contradictory, but she rolls with it.
As a young girl, she was involved in a lot of different activities, and tried her luck with all sorts of things. Not necessarily because she wanted to, but mostly because her parents were highly encouraging of stepping out and trying new things. Dance lessons, choir, piano lessons, sports, writing lessons… you name it! She's still trying to figure out what she's good at. She loves music and singing, but hasn’t had a lot of training, so she only really sings along to popular tunes… she’s still far too insecure to do anything more, like solo stuff. But it helped that her whole family was musical, so having all four girls and the parents could be quite a treat when you got them singing!! She once had dreams of forming a band with her sisters, but those are long in the past, since all her older sisters are now off doing their own thing. She also dabbles in a little writing, and she likes to play a couple Muggle sports like Volleyball and Football(Soccer).
One of her favorite things about the magical world is the fact that she can fly on a broom!! When she was younger, if asked what super power she would wish for, she always said she wished she had the ability to fly! That or read minds... but flying is something that she loves to do as often as she can. She's intrigued with Quidditch -- never played on the house team, but likes to play whenever theirs random, just for fun games.

Why are they in that house? She’s a very agreeable sort, and she could well be described as the stereo typical ‘push over’. Not to say that she doesn’t have a backbone, because she does. She won’t give into peer pressure, but she does like to please others as much as she can, if that makes sense. She’s smart when it comes to class work and assessments, but she isn’t brainy or enjoy learning, therefore she wouldn’t fit in Ravenclaw. And she’s not overly brave, adventurous or courageous, therefore Gryffindor was out. Slytherin… well, as she might come into her own one day and become ambitious enough, she simply would not fit into that house. So a badger she would have to be!
