Personality:
Depending on who you are you get two different versions of Jul. At first, no matter who you are Jul comes off as shy and timid. She is not the type to approach a stranger and say hi but if they do start talking she will never shut up (if she likes them). From there Jul's true self is revealed and the person realizes that Jul is just a niave, talkative tomboy that wants everyone to be happy. But if Jul doesn't like them (for some reason) she will simply try not to interact with them. If they push her she snaps back, usually through magic or physically leaving them believing she is crazy.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Magical: Jul is incredibly gifted in innate magick. She started showing these abilities when she was young (performing small accios and such.) When she arrived at Hogwarts she was the best in her flying class (despite being scarily ungraceful on her broom)
Personality: I do not see qualities of personality as good or bad but both. Still I would say that Jul stands up for what she believes when it comes down to it and never backs down from a fight for that cause. She also truly just want to be happy and keep her friends happy.
Weaknesses: Both magical and personality:
Magical: Not so much a Magical weakness but more to the fact that she is unable to harness her magic. She lacks the patiences and training for it. She's also pretty hopeless in classes that aren't tactile or that deal with a lot of information (History, Astronomy, and Potions to a lesser extent).
Personality: Her brashness gets her into trouble. She goes headfirst into things and doesn't think things out before acting. She's all instinct.
Fears:
1- Being Alone. That no one will love her, does love her...etc.
2- Books. She may or may not have dyslexia

History:
Jul is a second generation witch yet she has grown up in the muggle world. Her parents are both muggleborn and thought that this would be the easiest way to raise her since she would be closer to her extended family and they had hoped it would make her more grounded. Jul doesn't have any siblings but has 10 muggle cousins that she treats like her brothers - getting them (and herself) into as much trouble as possible. ;)
Jul would have learned of her heritage fairly early on though since her natural affinity towards magick was strong and when she wanted certain things to happen they usually did. The best example of this would be when her parents put the cookie jar on top of the fridge. Jul reached and reached for it until it finally jumped off the fridge and fell on her head. But her parents kept it a secret from herself (using obliviate) until she received her invite to Hogwarts and her parents decided that she could go.
Upon entering Hogwarts and being sorted into Gryffindor she knew she was a natural leader and has tried to exemplify that, but more on the charismatic side than the studying side. Jul has a natural affinity towards wand magick and anything that involves "doing" not "thinking". She likes things that come easy to her and holds a grudge against things she has to work for (but doesn't give up on them even if she doesn't put much effort into them).
Jul didn't find out till recently what her parents did for a living (her dad is an obliviator). This came out after an argument while she was home and her parents had pulled her from school. Jul now questions everything about her past since she thought they were muggles. She's finding out there are a lot of secrets and lies in her family..

awkwardly tall and lanky (approx 5'7") arriving from a quick growth spurt, but confident with her body even though a bit clutzy. Her fair skin comes from her mom and her black hair comes from her dad, no one is quite sure how she got hazel eyes though (and in certain light you can see flecks of purple). Tomboyish looks with short raven black hair thats growing out from a crop. It almost looks like she's blushing all the time especially since she's always smiling.

She looked up at her father who was sitting on the stool across from her and bit her lip. "Is this..can I.." Her dad nodded with a pleased smile but before he could truly answer her Jul had her arms wrapped around him.
