He's got an athletic build, tall, with broad shoulders. He's not quite as built as a lot of guys his age, but he's surprisingly adept when it comes to tackling/fighting, as if he's got a lot more strength than his size would suggest, but that could also just be sheer fierceness. He stands at 5'11" and weighs right around average for his height, but his personality really comes through when he's pissed and makes him seem more formidable than his actual stature.
His dark blonde hair is usually worn pretty shaggy, despite his parents' insistence that he get it cut. Girls like the mussed look, he tells them, and he stubbornly refuses to change it. His skin is usually tanned, evidence of the hours he spends outside in the summer time and he tends to smile quite a lot, especially around his family.

** to clarify his grades, while his ADD was a partial factor, he also wasn't as dedicated a student as he should have been. Between pranking and hanging out with friends, his didn't study as much as he should have. Even with the ADD, his grades could have been better had he really, seriously applied himself to the work. Unfortunately, Ollie always felt that as long as he passed at least a handful of OWLs and NEWTs, there were other, more important things, to focus his attentions on (like pranking/fighting that Slytherin asshole that "stole" his best friend in their last year).

Personality:
Daring is definitely a good word to describe the male half of the Roslinn siblings. He doesn't seem to have a fearful bone in his body and there's very little he won't try once, especially if you dare him to or catch him in one of his more hyper moods. He's a big-time thrill seeker and the more dangerous something is, the more he seems prone to do it. Skydiving, bungee jumping - you name it, he's either tried it or he wants to try it. He likes to do those kinds of crazy things just because he can.
He's a little bit ADD, too. His natural intelligence doesn't shine through, sometimes, because it's really hard for him to stay focused on anything for long (attention span? what's that?) and he tends to prefer action to talking or learning. He did better in applied classes, sports or other classes where he was actively doing something and less well when he has to sit still and just listen. His grades were better than you might expect from someone with his condition, because he's learned to focus when he has to and he does have his ADD medication that helps when he remembers to take it, though they're certainly not good. As his best friend has said to him at times - "If I had scores like those, I'd be throwing myself off the astronomy tower!" For Ollie, though, they're acceptable.
Ollie acts more like a typical big brother sometimes. He's fiercely protective of sister Jessica and of any of the other females in his life. The boy has quite and temper when it comes to seeing the people he loves hurt and he will immediately go after anyone who is mean to Jess. He doesn't think it through at all, so it often leads to TROUBLE, but he always says it's worth it, even when he's been lectured for managing yet another detention, because he was defending his sister's or best friend's honor. Granted, detention is no longer a consideration since he's finished school, but that doesn't mean trouble doesn't seem to find him, anyway!
He's a friendly guy, too, always seeming to be happy, always willing to lend a hand or do what he can to make other people happy. He doesn't care about being popular or anything, but if that happens as a side-affect of his generally cheerful and friendly personality or his involvement with sports, all the better.

He's a loyal and protective friend and brother, willing to do anything to help and protect the ones he loves. Even though this sometimes (read: almost always) gets him into trouble, Ollie sees this as a good trait.
His best class was Charms. It's the one class he seemed to be just innately good at. He's actually a good flyer, too, but that probably has more to do with his natural athletic grace than any sort of magical skill.

Something happening to his sister or his best friend. Ollie doesn't fear much for himself, but he's scared to death of not being around to protect the people he loves or of something happening to them that he just can't prevent.
History:
llie was born the only sibling of one Jessica Roslinn on a cool winter day in a village just outside of Dublin. He and his family continued to live there until his dad got a better job in England, which relocated the whole family. Ollie wasn't very happy about this at first, but he adapted and soon came to regard England as home, easily making friends and settling into life in a place.
He spend a lot of his childhood playing football and rugby, horsing around and acting like most young boys do. He likes sports a lot, especially the more physical ones. Ollie became a different person on the field - fierce and violent, filled with a sort of bloodlust.. it seemed only natural that once he got a taste for Quidditch, he'd identify Beater as his favorite position to play.
Ollie wasn't really exposed to much magic growing up. He's technically a halfblood, though there is a lot more Muggle blood in his family than Magical - having a cousin as a witch and being the only other magical one in the family (that he knows of) hardly seems to count in his mind and he certainly wasn't raised as anything other than Muggle. At least, not until the day his Hogwarts letter came. His father's sister's daughter, who is a few years older than her, went to Hogwarts as well and while his parents knew of this (because his dad and sister were very close to one another), they chose not to tell him or his own sister until/unless either of them ended up showing the same kind of abilities.
He was diagnosed with ADD as a child, too. He tries really hard to remember his medication and stay focused, but, of course, there are some days he just can't manage to keep himself under control as well as he'd like. It's really far too easy to blame all the trouble he gets into on his illness, but, really, even without the ADD, he'd still be a thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie who was constantly pushing the rules and he still wouldn't have paid as much attention to his studies as he should have when he was in school.
Despite all this, he's worked hard to be who and where he is now. He's always applied himself to the things that matter most to him and he tries really hard not to let his ADD handicap him too much.
He played Beater (sub only, sadly) for his house team while he was in school, but Ollie's not doing much with Quidditch these days, unless you count a job as a clerk for Quality Quidditch Supplies in Diagon Alley. Work is scarce in the magical world for a Halfblood these days and it's not exactly his dream job, but it's not the worst thing, either, so he's basically happy.
