One person takes your memories, one restores them. One keeps you here, one wants to send you back.

And is the second person ever successful in sending people back to where they belong?

[Oh-ho. Makin' some connections here.]

Knowledge is only as dangerous as the ones who do not wish it shared. That the peril exists at all is reason enough to seek it out and combat the forces that wish to use us against our wills.

You make an excellent point that I think too many people forget. This is all against the wills of the majority of the people here. While there are those who don't mind being used, I'm afraid I'm not one of them.

Nor am I. I believe I can say with confidence that I would not consent to having my memories robbed from me nor being forced to live subject to the whims of this place.

[A few pen taps. When the writing starts, it is disguised-- uneven and a little wobbly with a decided left-handed slant to it.]

Several intriguing questions, but not near enough answers for my taste. However, perhaps I know the answer to your last question.

Yes.

[Pause]

But I do not know where to start.

Despite all efforts to the contrary, there is something of a history to this place. I would try seeking it out if I were you.

Yes.

How straightforward. No doubt in your mind, then?

pimpcoatbankai August 30 2010, 23:33:15 UTC
If it means getting my friends out of here and getting back to my sisters? No. No doubt in my mind at all.

Then I have no doubt your determination will serve you well. As long as you think to temper it with caution.

Don't be jealous. There's plenty of attention for everyone.

Who's jealous? I'd say I've been picked on more than my fair share lately.

[In a different hand than the other NPC.]

And picked on less than some.

Don't whinge, lad.
