CHARACTER NAME: Allen Walker
SERIES: D.Gray-man
RESERVED: Y
WISHLIST: uhh probably.
PERSONALITY: Allen is difficult to wear down, and chooses to walk forward regardless of how he feels inside. He'll keep going long after other people are emotionally exhausted. What's more, he'll do it with a smile on his face. He's very social and friendly, always willing to extend his hand out to someone in need. He looks on the bright side most of the time, and tries to boost anyone who needs a bit of cheer. He isn't afraid to speak up to friends, enemies, or authority. He's very vocal about his opinions on issues that involve suffering and other people. Allen's strong will keeps his personality from being eroded by the being within his body. He understands he can't save everyone, but it doesn't mean he won't try. He knows there are somethings that can't be avoided and they'll happen no matter what he does. He just won't like it.
His greatest flaw is he's too compassionate for his own good. He takes it rather badly when he can't save people and worries about what most people would consider necessary causalities. He internalizes a lot of his emotional problems, from his doubts about his foster father to his concerns about his master. Allen will try to dodge an issue to keep people from worrying about him. He has issues with his own self worth, thinking of everyone else before himself.
He's endlessly reckless and takes chances with his life, if he deems it necessary. If he's having issues you won't know about them until he explodes. When he's in a rage he doesn't think, he acts.
Allen speaks formally to keep his emotional distance between himself and others. With time, he becomes comfortable with someone and subconsciously refers to the person with less formality. But he's the type of guy who sticks to his moral ground and keep his promises. Allen is rather reliable to come running in to help you, no matter what state his body is in.
Yet he's still a child despite everything he's encountered and seen in his lifetime. You'd better be careful when he starts turning on his charm. It's been known to be extremely effective and get you to give up your egg salad. Unfortunately, Allen views himself as a living weapon. He blames himself for every soul lost and has to fight for his sense of self. His ability to trust others was severely damaged by canon events but with enough time he'll open up a little. Don't try to push him too much and you'll earn a very loyal friend who might finish off the tub of ice cream in your fridge in one sitting.
He's easy to cheer back up at times. Give him food and he perks right up. He can be prone to spazzing or outbursts! It depends on the situation from being hit on (you'll get a blush too) to someone doing something he views as utterly stupid. A fair example of the later is when his Boss Komui brought out another robot to 'help' everyone. He doesn't like robots, if he must sacrifice them to save his own ass, he'll turn on the charm to lure the machine to its death without regrets.
The Fourteenth: What little we know of the Fourteenth gives us the sense he is an arrogant and enigmatic man. He speaks of killing with a smile on his face and purposefully lets the Earl know he’s re-awoken within Allen’s body. He feels and displays very little fear in the face of the man who killed him. Despite the trust he clearly has from Allen’s master, the Earl desperately wants the Noah on his side. Very little is known about him and when more becomes available (before es ends) I’ll discuss it with you the moderators first before thinking of updating this section.
TIMELINE: Chapter 172 - the beginning of the thief G arc.
BACKGROUND: A long time ago before the time of history we know as the Great Flood, a war existed that wasn't recorded by history. The ancients of those times opposed a force called the Clan of Noah, lead by a man known as the Earl of the Millennium. He and his clan of thirteen members sought to end the world but the ancients fought back with a substance given to them by God called Innocence. In the hands of wielders the force chose they were deadly weapons. They defeated the Earl and his clan with the help of their weapons but the world ended anyways. It would be known within the hidden history as the Days of Fury but, to us it is called the Great Flood.
Those ancient people knew of a prophecy one that would decide the fate of the world long after they were gone. The Earl and his clan of dark warriors were not done with. They would come again seeking to end the world another time. So they left instructions on how to use the weapons of God's power on a cube to be found when the time was right. The pieces of Innocence were scattered through out the world, and the world forgot the terrible times as the secret doors were closed over history's hidden pages. Until one hundred years ago someone found the cube. It foretold of the ending of days, and spoke of the Earl coming again one thousand years after the old war.
The governments of the world were reluctant to believe the words even when it spoke of a mythical 'Heart' or center focus for all the crystals that would once again choose wielders to defend the future. The Earl did come again and he hadn't forgotten the past. He used bits of his own matter to create a polar opposite of God's power and aptly named it Dark Matter. With the new dark power he started to use humans in the depths of grief to call down the souls of the departed. With the souls called down they were bound to the dark matter and to his will. Slaves to the Earl, these poor souls were the fuel for his murder machines called Akuma.
An Akuma's first kill is their loved one for they use the person's body to hide within until they need to kill. The more they kill, the more a soul suffers and is devoured by the horrific substance the Earl created to oppose the crystals of God. He amassed his forces in secret while he awaited out the revival of the rest of the clan of Noah. The world governments decided to revive the ancient order from all those ages past, the legendary Black Order. Directly connected to the holy Vatican and the Pope himself they would be what stood between humanity and destruction once again.
They sought out people who were compatible and chosen by Innocence. Like a cold war, both sides amassed their powers and sought out allies until the turn of the nineteenth century. In those times, war finally broke out but the prelude of silence was far from over and in the midst of it, Allen Walker was born.
In the beginning of his life he was a discarded orphan, abandoned because of his deformed arm. It was a struggle to survive in the circus he became part of. The strong lived on and the weak were picked on and destroyed. He had to be tough! He was beaten when he was better at performances then the circus bully. As long as he acted like it didn't matter, it didn't. He could keep going as long as he internalized his hurts. Until Mana came into his life, he cut through his Allen's attempts to guard his heart. With a few words, despite Allen's biting words and growling like a tiny wolf, Mana got to him.The man seemed insane.
What was more notable was a red haired man who kept warning Allen (who was just Red Arm at this time) to stay away from Mana. Matters reached a head when Cosmio (however the fuck you spell it depending on the trans) force fed Allen, Mana’s dog glass. Red Arm was pissed off and went after the bully but Mana blocked him saying the Earl would come when there was tragedy. Red Arm was locked in a cage by the circus manager and while Mana was in the ring, the Earl did indeed appear. The red haired man intervened slaying the summoned Akuma and again warning Red to stay away from the crazy old clown.
He didn’t listen especially when Mana started calling him Allen and thought he was the dead dog (which in Mana’s crazy brain was not dead). It was better than nothing and Allen as Red was now called accepted his new role.
They traveled all over the world and Mana created what seemed to be a secret language with him. In truth it was something else, and he would come to know what it was many years later. One day Mana was killed and Allen at the age of ten was left alone. His world had been ripped from him, torn from his fingers as easily as a pickpocket sneaks away with a wallet. In his folly he lost himself in grief, and was given a false offer by a man later to become his enemy, the Earl of the Millennium to raise his foster father. It was a lie but he took it. Akuma are made when a loved one deep in grief uses their voice to call back the departed, the last component the Earl ever needs for the process. Mana's soul was chained into one of the killing machines called Akuma and bound the Earl's will. Mana had no choice to but to obey when the Earl ordered him to kill Allen. He cursed Allen for helping the Earl call him back and cut into the boy's left eye, finalizing the curse.
Without any hope left, Allen prepared to die at the hands of his beloved foster father when the Innocence contained in his left arm since birth responded to his emotions of despair. It transformed into a massive white claw and struck out to end the threat to its chosen wielder. Too young to understand what was happening Allen tried to stop the weapon from destroying Mana. He couldn't get it to stop, before the claws closed over the only person to ever love him the eye Mana had cursed saw the man's soul. Mana told him to destroy him, and that he still loved him. His claws crushed the Akuma body and the trauma of killing his foster father turned his hair white. Allen lay there after it was over, tears streaming down his face as his cursed eye and regular eyes stared at nothing.
Lost in his grief, he didn't notice his future master stood before him until the man leaned down and spoke to him, offering him a chance to make Mana's death mean something. To make it a case of giving freedom and not committing senseless murder. "The only way to free them is to destroy them." Cross Marian (the red haired man from before) had said and Allen stared at his chance for redemption and took it. At first he accepted the mantle of an Exorcist out of guilt. But as time worn on, he came to see Akuma, the chained souls of the dead didn't hate their loved ones.
They cried for them and only he could see them. He vowed to live for them, to fight for them, and to make them the reason for his existence. For five years, Allen traveled with the Cross and learned from him. They were trauma filled years for Cross Marian was not the saint he seemed to be when he found Allen. He drank like a fish, created debt where ever he went, and had as many women as he wanted. On top of this, he constantly smacked Allen for anything stupid the boy uttered or insulted him on a daily basis. He didn't tell Allen the substance in his hand was Innocence. Training for Allen was being hurled into a pack of the machines and told to sink or swim.
There were also debt collectors seeking his master and upon finding he was Cross's student trying to make him pay instead. In situations like those he learned how to play poker and bend lady luck into knots to win. It wasn't a matter of simply winning, it was life or death. His master didn't use sources of light at night much so his eyes adapted to the darkness of the night. His master was quite willing to force Allen to pay for the massive amounts of debts, as Allen's skills in earning money developed and his personality warped in subtle ways. He no one had a problem with beating the pants of someone in a game of poker. He took pride in it and sadistic glee. Not that anyone could see that when his smiles seemed polite and innocent.
He gained a lot of anger that he carefully repressed. Each time he earned himself a blow on the head. When he was twelve his master forced him to take care of a man-eating flower. It chewed on his head and generally caused him problems until he learned he had to tell it he loved it and be affectionate to the flower. Roseanne the man-eating plant could not be allowed to die, his master promised to make him wither if the plant did. But there came a time when Allen was fifteen where Cross needed to go places too dangerous to take the boy with him. He called Allen into their room and told him he was allowed to call himself an Exorcist at last. But, they had to go to the headquarters of a special organization called the Black Order together for it to be official.
Cross asked him if he knew where the headquarters was. Allen at this point was quite wary and the wariness increased when Cross told him the golem Timcampi, a magical device for communication and recording, would show him the way. Cross promised he'd sent a letter to recommend and confirm Allen was an Exorcist for the organization's leader Komui Lee. He added Allen should get going as soon as he woke up. Allen finally spoke up, "M-master you aren't thinking to leave me behind are you?" Cross only smiled and brought a hammer crashing down on Allen's head. "I hate that place." he said before Allen's world went black. When the boy woke up his master was gone.
He cleaned up the puddle of blood he'd awoken in, bandaged his aching skull and tried to find his master. You see there was key bit of info Cross forgot to say, where the headquarters was. All Allen knew was the place was somewhere in Europe. Unfortunately he entered his master's favorite store after he gave up on the search All of his cash and anything of value was snatched up by a store owner because his master owed the man money. Telling himself his master wasn't a bad person the whole way, Allen left for Britain penniless. How the hell the golem creature his master had left with him would show the way he had no idea.
It seemed a bit far fetched and like an excuse. He sought out a friend of his master, an old terrifying nun most called Mother. She was one of Cross's patrons and his only hope of getting the location of the organization the Black Order's headquarters. He didn't know what he'd do if she didn't know. He'd been there once before when he'd first become his master's student. His hand had been locked up from being forced to activate into weapon form before Allen was ready to use it. Not that it had worked before either. Together with Mother and his master he learned how to get it moving and eventually played cards with it. When he arrived at Mother's church two months after his master had left him alone in India, he went to the cemetery nearby and reunited with her servant a very large built man named Barba.
Barba in his joy smashed into Allen and as the boy flew through the air he was grateful his head wound had healed. A double punch from those two would have killed him. He had to tell Barba, Cross Marian wasn't with him as he once again told himself that someone who had just smacked him wasn't a bad person. Barba was just expressive with his whole body. That's all. Perhaps it should be of no surprise the old nun called Mother is as demonic as his master Cross. After seeing him again she challenged him to poker. There was no arguing and when she asked him what he was there for he related his tale.
The tale of how when he needed him most, Cross had simply told him a few bits of information then smashed his head in to keep from going to headquarters. She admitted she knew where the Headquarters was, much to his relief. She tried to reason with him that he could fight Akuma on his own. He argued without the special organization's intelligence network, finding the killing machines of the Earl's forces were only slim chances. As an Exorcist he could get into restricted places no one else could. The Earl was moving freely in the world and he had to have the clearance to do the same if he was to oppose him effectively. She agreed to tell him where the place was but, her information didn't come free.
He'd dreaded and expected that. She wanted him to help a young woman named Riza. Riza had recently lost of her beloved and kept going to the cometary. It was Mother's worry the woman would fall into the deep grief that lured the creator of the killing machines Akuma to her. She kicked him out into Riza's midst and he had to work fast to keep her from being suspicious of him. He listened to her speak about her lover before a doctor interrupted her and took her away. The doctor appeared to be just looking after her well being. But he couldn't leave Riza alone and confessed as much to Mother the old nun. In return, she told him the woman's address and made him take flowers with him to give to Riza.
Along the way he caught the doctor from before acting strangely and tailed him. What he overheard was strange and worried him. It sounded like the man was in debt but what did Riza have to do with that? The doctor's behavior was so different from the mild manners of before. Allen put that in the back of his mind as he continued on his way to Riza's home. When he got there she let him in and they talked about her lover Lenny. He had been a patient at the hospital she worked at as a nurse. from what Allen could tell by asking questions, she knew nothing about what the Doctor had been worried about on a public phone.
But she had a friend who lost her lover as well two months ago unlike hers it had been sudden in an accident. He asked her to show him around. He wanted to get familiar with the town he said but in truth he thought the change of scenery would help her heart heal.
After a misunderstanding with Kanda Yuu, Allen was officially declared an Exorcist. It wasn't long after this that he was sent on his first mission. As time went on he was sent on his second mission; there he met a new accommodator (Miranda). Lenalee and Allen were sent to investigate a town that no one could seemingly enter. They got inside but couldn’t find their way out. More importantly, time kept reversing. It was Allen who found Miranda but they didn’t know she was the source of the strangeness until Akuma attacked and they retreated to her apartment.
Her clock was Innocence, and according to her story the Exorcists reasoned it was reacting to her wish. (If I got fired 100 times, I’d wish tomorrow never came too). They tried to get her a job but she kept being fired and the enemy caught up with them. Allen was taken out and Lenalee shortly after him. When he woke he encountered one of the Noah (Road). He learned the Noah were operating based on the Earl’s script. More importantly that there were humans siding with the Earl. She jabbed out his eye and tried to kill Miranda. Allen protected his new friend, which in turn helped the clumsy and shy woman Miranda stand up and try to protect him in turn.
The clock answered her wishes, spinning back time and turning the tide of the battle. But Rhode still got her shot in by blowing up an Akuma. An Akuma destroyed by any means other than Innocence damns the soul inside. Allen was enraged but no matter how angry he was, he couldn’t shoot another human.
During his recovery after the battle, he met Lavi, the apprentice Bookman and a fellow Exorcist. Allen felt disturbed and lost without the use of the curse eye that Rhode jabbed out. Lavi explained to him that the unease and mistrust he felt because he could not tell who the enemy was, was what Exorcists felt every day. Allen resolved to keep fighting along side his friends even if he couldn’t use his eye. They returned to where they were staying while he and Lenalee recovered, Komui assigned them to the long term mission of finding General Cross, but before they could get underway, Allen was held back or rather kidnapped by the mayor of the town they’d come to.
The side trek lead them to, Krory, another accommodator of Innocence who had been misunderstood. He appeared to the locals as a vampire that was preying on them. Allen promised to help sort it out (he had no choice) once they mentioned Cross in perfect description. Lavi came back to join him and once they were inside the castle, they uncovered Krory was one of them, an accomodator. Allen tried to convince him but it wasn’t until his cursed eye grew back he could. For Krory was in love with an Akuma woman named Eliade and when what she was was revealed, he fought her. (Allen was wrapped up in man eating flowers at this time.)
In the aftermath, Krory tried to die feeling he had nothing left to live for, Allen convinced him to live on as an Exorcist. It would give Eliade’s death meaning. They dealt with the villagers scorn and monster comments and boarded the train to catch up with the others. On the train, Allen met Tyki Mikk, who he didn't know was another of the Noah. It isn't mentioned how long it took, but we next see Allen in China hot on Cross' trail. Anita, Cross' latest lover, pointed them towards Japan. However, before they could set sail, Akuma seemed to attack - but they were after something else: the Fallen Exorcist Suman Dark.
The Fallen ones are those that betray Innocence, essentially betray God. Suman had sold out his comrades to save himself because he did not wish to die. He had a daughter he wished to return to - Allen tried to seperate Tyki struck while Allen was pushed beyond his limit from the encounter with Suman, and put a hole through his heart while destroying his Innocence at the same time.
Allen recovered from Tyki's assassination attempt and Bak, the section chief of the Asian branch, told him his Innocence wasn't destroyed. It took Allen until a true battle with an Akuma to invoke. He quickly headed off right after to Edo to help the others. His arrival had perfect timing - he turned the tide of the battle before they were all swept into the Ark. In a race against time, Allen and the others (Kanda, Lenalee, Krory, Lavi, and Chaoji) battled their way through each room that was being downloaded into the new Ark. Kanda was the first to fight a Noah (Skin Borlic), staying behind so the remaining five could keep going. Krory stayed behind to fight the Noah Jasdebi and told the others that he believed in them, making Allen realize to believe is very precious. With only Lenalee, Lavi, Chaoji, and Allen left they proceeded to the top of the tower.
It's important to note Tyki and Road were awaiting the exorcists, and Tyki spoke about Allen's Innocence. It's unheard of for an Innocence to save their user, making Allen a prime target for Tyki. At first Allen and Tyki's fight was almost equal, but Tyki cracked Allen's Innocence. Because Allen's a parasitic user, he was able to self-recover his weapon. He told Tyki that it wasn't the Innocence he should be worried about, but the humans that wield them.
Tyki was enraged by Allen's response and used the full extent of his power, confining Allen inside an airless void. In order to survive the encounter Allen had to grow stronger. He realized he wanted to save everything even the Noah. Tyki tried to prevent him from seeking greater power from his Innocence but Allen succeed breaking through 100% synchronization and evolving his weapon into a sword. With his new found power he cut through the void and later Tyki. He revealed the Innocence will not harm humans only the Noah and Akuma. He'd cut Tyki's Noah side. The Noah Road retaliated with an attempt to destroy Lavi's heart. She did manage to take control of Lavi and forced Allen to fight him using Lenalee and Chaoji has hostages.
Allen fought Lavi but refused to actually attack him. Lavi had no such reservations fighting and defeating him before he set his friend on fire. At first it burned until Allen realized that the fire wasn't actually burning him. Lavi had regained control of himself and used the fire to melt the candles Road used to threaten the hostages. He then turned his Fire seal attack on himself and Road, intended to destroy himself to take Road with him. Lenalee begged Allen to save their friend and he did, leaping into the fire without any hesitation. He saved him, wrapping them both in his white cloak as his voice reached Lavi within the confines of his mind. Allen warned Lavi to never do that again right before Road laughed hysterically, her burnt body bursting into sand.
The crew panicked when it hit them that Road's door might have been destroyed when she 'died'. Allen stayed with Lenalee and Chaoji below while Lavi went up to the top of the tower were the door had been placed. The door was fine and everyone arrived safely at the top. But Allen didn't intend to go with them and even wanted to go back for Tyki. Lavi and Lenalee didn't have a problem with this, but Chaoji did. He called Allen a devil and even went as far as to say he was just as bad as the enemy. Tyki attacked seconds later but Allen pushed Chaoji out of the way, taking the attack instead. He was pulled down to the bottom of the tower and witnessed Tyki's change into something otherworldly. Tyki's power was different this time, Allen was quickly overwhelmed and Lavi had to save him.
Lavi took Allen to the top of the tower and Tyki followed them, defeating Lavi before targeting Lenalee. The tower began to crumble and Allen along with Lavi attacked Tyki again. It had seemed all was lost and they'd lose, but General Cross showed up and dealt with things swiftly. He took Tyki down in a few hits, while the others were protected by his second Innocence' Grave of Maria's shielding power. Lenalee asked if Maria was a doll, but Allen shook his head and told her that no, Maria was a corpse. When Cross was about to finish Allen off, the Earl arrived and the crumbling of the Ark grew much worse. Lavi and Chaoji fell while Allen tried to save them. Lavi's hammer broke, sending them to their possible deaths. With a precious few minutes remaining before the download was complete, the General had Allen reverse it.
With the Ark and all its contents as a prize of victory, they returned home. Allen was put under watch by the Vatican that believed him to be in liege with Noah because he possessed the Will of the 14th. His watcher was Inspector Howard Link, and he was to be watched 24 hours a day. He and Cross were not allowed to speak to each other and Howard Link now followed him everywhere he went (Not in there you perverts). Lulubell the Noah of Lust had used her shape shifting ability to murder a leader of an Order branch use their face to get into the Order.
She attacked the science lab to replenish the Earl's supply of helpers called Skulls along with the Akuma plant 'Egg''s recovery. Despite being put under suspicion by the Vatican, Allen rushed off to help when the science lab was attacked. Sadly, even though the Generals and other Exorcists also fought, several of the research team lost their lives. The Egg had to be destroyed thanks to Lulubell taking Miranda hostage. But the battle was not over, an Akuma that was part of the raid evolved to level four.
It was made clear in one hit the level of strength the Akuma had reached. Allen's back was broken and even the Generals were seemingly defeated. Crown Clown forced Allen's body to continue fighting and he showed up in time to defend Lenalee while she sought to synchronize with her Innocence again. Her Innocence evolved, forging it's new weapon form from her blood. However, Allen was starting to falter his body couldn't take the continued strain of combat. Kanda and Lavi both tried to help him, but the Akuma's attack damaged them all. Lenalee saved them all with her new boots. Allen helped her pin the Akuma just in time for Cross to arrive. Cross severely weakened it with the intent to capture it but it tried to escape. Allen and Lenalee destroyed it with a dual attack. Afterward, Allen was too weak to move and Link carried him over to the dying Tapp.
It's not said how much time passed, but the Dark Order prepared to move locations. Komui discussed with Allen the song of the Ark, before they were ordered to pack up and move locations. Several mishaps occurred when they were packing up the Science division, the important one for Allen is the hair tonic that made his hair longer. There was a blackout suddenly, and Allen spotted the head nurse in the doorway. She came inside and bit him, starting a rash of 'zombies' that the survivors escaped from. They ran across Komui and the new Komurin Ex, and discovered it was a failed virus created by Komui. A sort of overwork virus 'Komu-vitan D' so powerful it cures your sanity and reason too.
So to proceed with moving, they had to capture the source of the contagion and created a vaccine. There was one problem with this, well actually several. They have no idea where that source is, Allen was starting to feel the effects of the virus, and the generals were infected too. General Socalo attacked Allen, and he was forced to defend himself while others of their little band were bitten. In the on-suing confusion, Komui had Komurin Ex fire it's missiles. Poor Allen got whacked too, and woke up after a strange dream about Krory.
To make a long story short, Allen came to in a store room with a few others and Krory called through the door. It was discovered Krory was the source of the infection, but even after they chased after him they lost. Time skips here and Allen goes ahead of the others with Komui and Lenalee to step up the Ark Gate so the rest of the Order can move. He's arrested by Louvelier and taken back to a room where he finally gets to talk to his master. Cross reveals that Allen is the current vessel of the 14th and eventually will taken over by the Noah.
Here’s so important information about the 14th. He was the fourteenth member of the Noah clan, and for reasons still unknown to us, he betrayed his boss the Earl and tried to kill him. The Earl in turn killed the 14th but not before the prick shoved his memory into a kid (read: Allen). Allen rebelled against the news saying his heart is his own and he'd keep his promises, he even lashed out with Timcampy as they carried him off. Later that night he fell asleep by Lenalee but awoke to a living nightmare.
His master had possibly been murdered. The room he stayed in showed all the signs of a struggle, with a pool of blood on the windowsill, broken glass, and Cross Marian’s mask. No one heard from Cross again from that point on. Meanwhile life went on, with the standing order to kill him if he turned placed and his duties as an exorcist in full swing. The time skip at that point in the series settled on a graveyard, Allen and Kanda battled the Noah while Miranda kept Link, the finders, and an old woman safe. Link was playing chess to defeat the soul who lingered beyond the grave because of the Innocence they were sent to find. He won and the exorcists departed for the gateway to the Ark.
The gateways were now guarded, none were permitted to pass without a passcode. He carried on and goes with Marie and Kanda on a mission to retrieve their own personal and investigate a mysterious thief G. The Inspector took them to the jail and Allen found the Finder group who informed him not only was Thief G related to the Innocence but he didn't possess a body of his own.The Inspector had been about to force them to leave when a police officer brings in another announcement from G.
Allen arrived in Edensphere in the aftermath of a hurricane and was greeted by (Sasuke [Naruto]) Drake. Drake warned him he'd been around before and had a job waiting for him if he wanted it. His initial days were awkward with the sense he was living in the shadow of his previous self. (Teddy [Young Avengers]) Throne was kind enough to give him space to adjust and start their friendship anew. He picked up his old job as a medic from his former boss (Lezard [Valkyrie Profile]). Things were peaceful for a bit and he made friends with people. Allen offered (Ishida Uryuu [Bleach]) Shiro space in his home when the other boy was hunting around for a place to live.
Clothing malfunctions didn't bother him too much except for Man's clothing and he grew closer to Shiro. Everyone's dreams started to circulate and he met his best friend (Tommy Shepard [Young Avengers]) Dash through it. The speedster introduced him to being a teenager something he took to with relief. In-between he regained his weapon arm while defending against the zombie invasion. He was careful not to get bit. They got closer when they were arrested in Las Vegas for jay walking.
After being traumatized by David Hasslehoff's hooked on a feeling song being told with lights and dancing dolls....Allen was struck down by by an evil twin. The evil twin called himself 'Noah' and reminded Allen he was a living weapon born for one purpose he seemed to have forgotten. The original was dumped in a trash bin and rescued by Shiro and Dash. He recovered at home his thoughts on what the twin had told him. Had he been a living weapon? It felt right. Nothing had ever felt as correct as that had.
Strange messages filtered through the Sphere calling all to fight and seek the truth. It was the first time Allen would learn of the library a place where all journals went to after their owners disappeared. His own journal was there, more importantly someone was trying to keep them in the Sphere and memoryless. He had a purpose again, stop the suffering of Edensphere's people. Shortly after that Drake, then Throne and (Billy Kaplan [Young Avengers]) Want disappeared leaving Dash upset and Allen along with close friends offering comfort.
Time didn't stop and more people kept disappearing, then (Tiera Arde [Gundam 00]) Aurora was murdered and Allen stumbled across the body. He was flipped and his cursed eye was triggered. Sasuke came down to investigate while a co-worker (Miles Edgeworth [Ace Attorney series]) Justice talked to him about what he'd seen and latter (Phoenix Wright [Ace Attorney series]) Truth cross examined his testimony. Shiro came along to offer him support and they discussed the strange shadow Allen had been seeing in his reflection. It had never been talked about until that moment.
Not long after he poured his heart out to Shiro, the other boy disappeared. Allen panicked and desperately searched Rivelata for his long time friend. He wasn't around. He became a Greeter to new arrivals to warn them about the dangers of the Sphere and to offer hope. They could have his memories back and he was careful not to tempt the sphere into killing him. He learned directly from (Selphie Tilmett [FF8]) he'd died before because he'd tread too close to the truth. He played it safe for a while but being Allen he was bound to run into trouble. Justice turned up dead and he tried to hunt down the killer.
Instead he got lost on the fourth floor. The fourth floor had become London during a rain storm and he was trapped down there for a time. He came face to face with Akuma again, the machines he'd vowed to live for years ago. Lucy came along and finally told him how he rebelled against the Sphere and the tree they all lived in attacked with its roots. He processed the information and mulled it over after they returned to the upper levels. Allen wasn't allowed to think very long before giant ants invaded.
They retreated down to the wilderness and Ishida's new incarnation came, Seele. He greeted him and felt pained at his return without memories. Billy's new incarnation came along as well as (Lavi [DGM]) Rabbit someone from home. After some time passed, they were allowed back up and as they settled a strange message was found in their journals. It taunted everyone for being complacent and lacking motivation to find the answers. The strange writer knew him, and called him the white clown. Allen wasn't bothered by that as much as he was freaked out about being called the 'vessel of his song'. He fled from the writer. He wanted nothing to do with him or the messages that hinted he was one of the writer's kind. He was an Exorcist wasn't he?
Allen was lost in turmoil over the event and talked to Rabbit. Together they reasoned they needed more answers. Answers that could have come in the form of Drake still stuck in the Sphere yet trapped. (Yourichi [Bleach]) Bastet had a talk with Allen after a friend (Alfons Heiderich [Fullmetal alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa]) Sky disappeared and she promised to take him to the library. He wasn't idle while he waited, he greeted (Kanda Yuu [DGM]) Oath and started performing night patrols of the Sphere to ensure it was protected. He began to steadily lose sleep, but it wasn't until after only Allen and Rabbit remained of people from home that he had a terrible accident.
While trying to thwart mistletoe, his blade flipped around and stabbed him through the chest. Like in canon, the 14th's memory locked within Allen awoke and greeted Dash in a disturbing hug. Not long after that (Tyki Mikk [Jack]) was arrive to Edensphere and they chatted a bit. Jack told him about (NPC!Tyki Mikk [DGM]) Spade the mysterious writer that had known Allen. A fire sprang up suddenly in the Sphere after (Timothy Hearst [DGM]) Ghost was born in the Sphere and Allen was burnt to crisp. He was revived in a cocoon along side Dash and (Wolverine [X-men]) Phoenix as birth siblings. He wasted no time reassuring Ghost and getting into helping with the aftermath of the tragedy. Only, the islands on the second level of the tree had changed, leaving him to wonder why.
People began disappearing again and Dash suggested they form a new team of Young Avengers. Allen agreed with idea and Ghost disappeared from Edensphere. For the most part things were tame save little flare ups of problems here and there. He left people to themselves as he mulled over his strange ties to Jack and Spade. Tragedy struck again as the wilderness became Mordor. They worked to get people out of the wilderness and he was shown a way into the mysterious library (this was worked out last time with Mawb and I but you can renig his ability to go in). He didn't go out of indecision, and worry but, he could step inside it finally and feel closer to achieving his goal.
Nothing much happened until (Howard Link [DGM]) Crow showed up in the sphere right after Sky's second incarnation that didn't last long. Lucy disappeared and his strange sense of isolation grew as life in the Sphere moved on. He had trouble sleeping and being turned into a child again didn't help.
Crow moved in with them in time to deal with his childish defensive instincts, things Allen had long forgotten until being faced with them again. The Evil twins returned again and Allen felt frustrated over it. Why did they keep coming back? Luckily his own didn't reappear. He hadn't been sure what he'd do in that event. Life returned to it's usual speed before an terrible ice storm came through Edensphere. The alarm was sounded early by (Kisame [Naruto]) Samehada and (Roy Mustang [Fullmetal alchemist: manga]) Snap leaving the medics to scramble to rescue as many people from the ice storm as possible.
Justice ordered rationing of all food. Allen didn't say anything about his high energy needs until the crisis was over and he had no other choice. He was extremely weak until he put weight back on from the pounds he'd lost. Lezard let him eat as much as he needed and Allen proposed the idea of first aid classes to teach everyone how to take care of their injuries long enough for medics to arrive and save their bacon.
ABILITIES:
In Allen's world there exists crystals called the power of God or Innocence. The crystals select a wielder, these chosen warriors are called Accomodators or Conformers. Sworn to follow the will of the Innocence, they train and learn the shape that best suits the crystal that chose them. Innocence in its best suited shape is called an Anti-akuma weapon, for they are the only thing that can damage Akuma.
Akuma are weapons of their sworn enemy, the Earl of the Millennium. They are created by manipulating those in grief to call down the souls of the departed. These machines are killers that feed on these souls housed within them and evolve as they kill and the soul suffers.
Anti-akuma weapons come in three types, Equipment, Parasitic, and Crystal. Equipment types - wield an item such as boots or a sword, even a chain. Parasitic types are housed within the user’s body as a portion of it - an arm or a leg perhaps. The last type is the mysterious Crystal type, very little is known about them but they dance the line between an equipment type and a parasitic by forming weapons out of the user’s own blood.
At this stage, Accomodators and conformers become Exorcists, soldiers of God's will to protect their world.
Allen Walker is one of the rare few in the second category, a parasitic user of Innocence. Parasitic weapons reshape a portion of the body to house them, even changing the very nature of the cellular structure. Because of this, Allen's arm where his is contained, will always look strange, with its black skin, sharp nails, and the crystal pressed into the back of it. When inactive, it functions as a simple arm. When the power is called upon for use it takes the shape of a black clawed arm, warping the cells and creating a cloak and clownish mask. The mask, arm, and knuckles are stylized with the mark of crowns. For this reason his Anti-akuma weapon was named Crowned clown.
Clown belt [Unlocked]: Crown Clown's cloak becomes like a web to grab things and pull them towards Allen. He can also form it into sharp spikes or blades and even use it as lance like protrusions that hold him up in the air. Depending on his wishes this attack is fairly varied. It's an attack that doesn't rely on range.
Clawed Crowns [Locked]: The crowns on the knuckles of his clawed hand expand and are unleashed in a whirlwind. This is a heavy damage attack with a far reaching forward range.
Edge End [Unlocked]: It's a standard slash attack with the added punch of charged energy. The energy has the same effect most of his energy based attacks do. It can only be used at close range.
Cross Grave [Unlocked]: An energy attack that forms a circle with a cross in it's center. Allen uses this attack for both offensive destruction or as a shield to stave off damage coming his way. Range doesn't matter with this attack.
The Left edge form has a few attacks of its own but it shares the Cross Grave attack, Clown belt, and one dangerous ability.
Puppet mode [Locked]: Crown Clown's cloak wraps its threads around his arms and legs and then puppets his body. Even if he has a broken back he'll move as if he's in perfect health. Pain isn't an issue but, death probably is.
Pentacle [Unlocked]: Allen’s left eye is marked with a red scar, a sign he’s a cursed human being. The curse triggers when he detects Akuma - machines fueled by trapped human souls. He can pinpoint their location within a radius of three hundred yards, and show the souls to those around him.
The 14th [Static]: Forcibly placed within Allen's body is the memory of a Noah. Noah are members of a clan once blessed by God and said to be betrayed. They pass through genetics to their chosen hosts and eventually erode their personality and very sense of self. He's an unlucky sucker in that respect. The 14th is the traitor of the family and wants to murder the Earl and take his place.
Anyways, the 14th’s skills reside in using a magical artifact from ancient times, the legendary Ark of Noah (so far). He can use the song ingrained into his being to open the Ark's doors anywhere he is to anywhere he's been. The draw back is with the 14th comes a whole other persona locked inside his head and trying to eat him. Naturally the Ark is not usable in Edensphere, thus not a problem.

EDENSPHERE NAME: Cross
BIRTHDAY LOG: Yes please.
DREAM:
The dreamer woke within a concert hall just as the curtain began to rise and the lights dimmed. The actors dressed in their finest clothes held masks to their faces as they glided effortlessly across the stage. They twirled and pranced, half of them in white and the others in black. The white side wore vicious masks that chilled his blood while the black side seemed serene and full of heaven’s light. How odd. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
The world suddenly went quiet as a sound not unlike nails on glass resounded through the hall. In that instance all he could see was a shadowy man with a crescent for a smile. “Good..”
Everything went red. “Morn...” He was among the dancers with a sword in his hands. Blood ran down the blade’s edge as he laughed and swung left then right. One by one they fell with heavy thuds. Their masks tumbled away from them. “Ing.”
“To become **** you will be forced to kill...”
The fingers on glass came again and thick chains erupted out of the ground at his feet tearing upwards. They encircled him and dug him down, down through the floor and into the darkness. A creature shifted in the gloom and rose up with mechanical limbs tearing into his shoulders. Yet that didn’t matter. Because he could see the soul within it.
“Love me! Even though I’m ugly...Love me!”
More of them came within in range and sank their weapons into his flesh until he was only held together by the guns and swords embedded within him.
“You’re here for us aren’t you?”
He smiled faintly. As long as he held onto this. To those dancers and to himself....
The dreamer looked up into the cold white eyes of the shadow that followed him down. “You can’t have this!” He shouted and focused. Sea green light poured upward, freeing the souls within the machines and tearing them to shreds. He burst apart in the vibrant light.
Only to find himself bowing before the audience dressed up as a gray clown. He didn’t notice the pianist was the shadowy man from before with a length of chain in his hands. It glinted in the light and wound all the way to the collar on the dreamer’s neck.
‘One day, you will become the ****.’
JOURNAL SAMPLE:
[The handwriting is familiar to old veterans of the sphere with a slight shake to the writing.]
...I’m told I’ve been gone for months and I came back for a while but I don’t remember being gone or who else I was. So many of us are gone. I’d like to pick up where I left off but, I need a little time to adjust to everything again. Please bear with me. And hello to anyone new that’s come while I was gone.
I’m Cross. Boss? Can I take my old job back up? What’s been going on while I was gone?
How long was I gone for? ...whose left now? I’m sorry for all these questions. Where did I go? I don’t remember ever being gone.
ASPIRATIONS: I’d like Allen to keep his es history from before but if you prefer him being a new slate, I’ll adjust things and apply for him from a much later canon point.
